I was looking through your videos again trying to figure out what I was going to make for dinner and I think I found it. Thanks for posting this I actually have almost everything in my house except for the cilantro. My house is a cilantro free zone because I am on “team cilantro taste like soap”. But for all you cilantro lovers that’s a good thing because it just means I never buy it and I will leave my share at the store for you to pick it up. 😄😄😄

Native New Mexican here, thank you for spelling chile correctly! Green chile is a staple here and most of us have a designated chile freezer for fresh roasted chile. I will definitely try your recipe. Glad to see you are able to get authentic chile in your neck of the woods.

We have family in the south and I will never forget the first time I experienced buying a fresh bag of green chile and having it roasted right there. Amazing! Hope you love it!

❤️ when you show crockpot recipes. I stay busy & I’m all about the crockpot whenever I can utilize it. I’m cilantro “no”. I’ve never cared for the stuff. I guess I could sub parsley🤔

First of all, I LOVE your nail color! One of my favorites. And as for cilantro, I think I heard that we're genetically predisposed to either like it, or not...I would have to say I'm on the "not" team, lol! Great job concealing the "white stuff" from the kids, haha! Moms are magicians, like that. Can't wait to try this recipe, especially with summer upon us...I rely on my crock pot to do the cooking, so I can stay out of the hot kitchen! Hope you and your sweet fam are all doing great, Pam

Sometimes i truly feel like I need magic powers to get these kids to eat certain things 😂. I have also heard that about cilantro and that some people taste a soapy taste. We are doing good, hope you are too!

Just a note, you should rinse your rice before cooking. It will be less mushy if you do, rinsing it will wash away the starch that makes it sticky. Also when it’s being harvested the walk on it barefoot LOL

Looks very yummy. Team no cilantro! (it tastes like dish soap.)

🧼 + 🍃Cilantro tastes like if grass and dishwasher soap had a baby (to me)! The rest of this rice dish looks SO GOOD! I want to like cilantro because it is vibrant, has a great color, and looks good on the plate, but I never did get used to it.

When you buy shredded cheese in a bag they put a coating in it so it does not stick together, that's why it does not melt as well. And the flavor is much better if you shred it yourself!

I'm definitely going to try this. I love green chilis and it seems like a good summer recipe! In regards to cilantro... I'm not on the team. It tastes like soap to me. I wish I liked it, but even the smell makes me gag.

Hope you love it! Soapy cilantro does not sound good...so interesting how it is so different for people.
