I need to buy those crockpot liners. Also, I lean back as far as I can and close my eyes when I’m opening biscuits haha!

I love my recipe cards!! I also have my grandma's recipe box and recipes and those bring back so many memories when I use those to cook and bake with. :) PS: I'm loving your channel - just found you after watching your chicken and gravy CP meal.

Found your channel this am and think it is very good. Not able to bring myself to cook in plastic...think someday we will realize how bad that really is. I also resort to processed foods but try really hard to not use them. My grandson and my daughter live in our downstairs and he loves canned bisquits so I buy them from time to time. We do not even heat anything in the microwave in plastic.

I hardly know where to begin! I think the Mississippi Pot Roast! And then Breakfast Bake for dessert, lol! All great recipes...thanks for sharing. P.S. It was so touching to see that you were clearly thinking of your grandmother as you made the Taco bake. So much of food revolves around memories

I am actually not a huge fan of pot roast and this is incredible. The flavor is so good! And yes I completely agree that food/recipes are directly related to memories. 🙂

I am going to make the pot roast and I need to figure out how to make garlic mashed potatoes in my electric skillet if possible. If you have any idea how that would be awesome!! I am also going to buy a dutch oven to cook over the campfire as well!
@whenwithjenn4 жыл бұрын
Here is my idea! Chop up/peel(if you peel) your potatoes and put them in your electric skillet with chicken broth and garlic cloves or garlic powder. Simmer until potatoes are tender with the lid on. Mash and Season with butter, milk or cream, salt and pepper! Hope you enjoy the pot roast! It is our fave.

@@whenwithjenn I did this and made three roasts in crock pot at camp to feed 18 people and it was a huge hit!! Made the potatoes in my electric skillet and then drained and mashed with hand masher and butter and 1/2 and 1/2 and garlic powder. Delicious!!! There was nothing left, also included ceasar salad and french bread. Wonderful meal!!

For the first meal you said it could go in the oven at 375, but for how long? I'd love to make this tonight!
@whenwithjenn3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Until your chicken is cooked thru. Sometimes if I'm short for time I will sear the chicken first and pop in the oven at 375 to finish it. Probably 15-25 min depending on the thickness of your chicken. Hope that helps!
