Heather had it right the first time, it's Inazuma. Impel Down is such an interesting ride. We learn a lot about our intrepid protagonist. We're also reminded that "bad" and "good" are relative terms, and that Luffy, while a good guy in general, is not a hero.

it also has some evidence in the "Episode 0" special of the movie "Strong World" (SPOILERS AHEAD) In the execution scene of Roger a lot of characters are shown in their younger days, specifically their faces are shown except one of them, Crocodile. He is only seen from the back, his face is not shown which fuels the theory that he was female at this point in time and later was turned male by Ivan
