When I was young, just last week 🫣🤭, my grandparents lived on Signal Mountain, on the mountain’s edge in Chattanooga, TN. They couldn’t let their pug dogs outside alone because of the Eagles living in the lot next door. It was quite an amazing show watching them fly and glide from the trees. Best wishes always, Fran

Yep we watch surroundings. The problem is when he gets older and wants to take his morning stroll around the property. There’s no saying if there’s a coyote around. That scares me more than anything. I’m a bit south of the bear and moose line and cougars. We have eagles but not so much in the woods like the hawks are.

Good luck. Just draw the shapes you see. Try to forget you’re drawing flowers. Just look at each petal and draw the shapes. Sometimes drawing around the entire flower and then filling in shapes is easier.

I used to own German Shepherds and when they are teething their ears would drop it's normal for puppies ears to go up and down. Teething starts at 3 to 4 four months old and usually ends when they are 6 months old.

yep. He is about 5.5 months now and teething is almost done. I did read about this. We are just trying the taping for a couple of weeks to help remind him to hold them up. My last Boston terrier’s ears went up at about 2 weeks old and never went down again. But he had thick cartilage and this one’s ears are very thin. We are giving him extra help, and kind of a reminder. then in a couple of weeks if the one is still down we will just let it go.

Really enjoyed this video, Sharon! Line & wash seems so well-suited to bringing out the form of botanical subjects. I still often do some initial pencil work to get the right bits in the right places, but I'm also trying out just diving straight in with the ink (I use fountain pen with Noodlers ink) and accepting any slight inaccuracies as just part of the whole loose sketching process. It's always good to see Tully put in an appearance - for a second or two I thought you were about to tell us that you'd used artist masking tape on his ears 🙂 Anyway, thanks for the video, much appreciated as always. Ha I actually thought about using it to cover my incision on my hand.😊 I didn’t have a bandage to cover it and I always mange to get paint everywhere.
