I’ve seen a couple of these and I have to say this was the best I’ve seen about them. The interviews, the archive footage put together so beautifully, it was all to great effect. Thanks for posting this!

I spent a lot of time with Bill Halverson in the 80's, apparently between his time with these fellows. He's a great guy in his own right. I heard stories here and there, but nothing like the detail in this film. The filmmakers should be extremely proud of this effort at capturing not only the CSN/Y experience at its zenith, but the entire arc of what these artists created together and separately over many decades. Kudos!

A great documentary about one/two of my favourite bands. I wasn't aware of all the turmoil that came with the incredible music produced. Have to say that my most stunned moment was seeing and older Neil Young, as he looks just like his father whom I worked with 40+ years ago. Holycrap time flies.

I was very fortunate to have seen Niel Young and his country band at the UIC pavilion Chicago and CSN at Ceasars Palace in Lake Tahoe and then again at Northerly Island in Chicago!!!

I remember during this time period working with some younger people and one of them said to me- Well what do you listen to old man CSNY? As laughter erupted, I said yes I do.

For some reason I am only finding parts 8, 9, 10 and 11. Not sure where parts 1 through 7 might be but I sure would like to find them!

I already knew a lot about CSNY that was covered in this documentary. All the same this was extremely well done & whether you know the story or not is well worth the watch. Well done.

Outstanding documentary on my fav group. Saw clips I’ve never seen before. I’ve been a fan of theirs for over 55 yrs… can you work one up for Santana, Clapton, and the Allman Brothers Band?

Four great singer song writers , two awesome guitarists , super harmonies , always backed by very efficient support musicians - CSN and Y were one the true supergroups . They of course fought all the time Neil Young solo / Crazy Horse was either truly great or outright scrappy. Stills solo work and with Manasas was very good in 3-4 albums then came the downturn . Crosby and Nash made a few good albums but not great.

I can still remember how PO'd the casual fans and the right wing were at the LWW tour.
@smarg5130 Жыл бұрын
I was one of them. Walked out. We had no idea what the tour was about and felt cheated too. I still love their music, but hate their politics haha. But, hey that's what America is supposed to be about. At least it used to be. Now you are cancelled if you don't agree with the prevailing zeitgeist.
