Many years ago, my wife and I and our two young sons, aged 10 and 8, spent a few beautiful days and nights on the gorgeous island of Sanibel. One night, we were invited by the bartender to the bar side of the restaurant we were having dinner at and, on his jukebox, played this incredible song for us. Life is made up of short, beautiful moments. This is one memory we all will never forget.

Brings back memories. My family used to listen to this leaving the island cow restaurant in Sanibel back to home in Estero, just as the sun was setting. We moved up north two years ago and I’m sooo missing it :(

there is a lovely Island called Sanibel, my paradise Island , where the streets are named after seashells. I play this song as we enter the bridge and it ends as we cross the bridge. I could spend my life. there.

Silvia Hoffman It's nice but traffic is awful in the entire area. But then again it is on both coasts of Florida for the most part . I spend the winter months there . Miss it already .

This an awesome song takes me back home.Grew up going sailing out to Sanibel,Captiva and NorthCaptiva used to camp there when I was a kid. At that time there were no houses on North Captiva now I hear its totally over run by million dollar homes What a shame . Why cant we just leave stuff alone.

I was in an airplane going ..somewhere .. my head was , as usual, in another planet... So I reached for the earphones and scrowled thru the songs and found Sanibel's... and Oh my goodness what a sweet sandy home sound... played by, this my brothers from '69....... Many years later, went to Florida with my Veteran brother Arnold and He took me & my lady to the sea shore and passed thru... Yes...Sanibel... Oh wow, know I find this song ... once again.. wish I was on that Paradise... Gracias from Sunny Mexico... Gracias Vicente

I am from Sanibel which on September 28 went into destruction when Hurrican Ian destroyed every good thing i loved in my life and my childhood . The place I could go home to. It's gone. Was a paradise with no bridge when I grew up and its a sand mess with no bridge now Maybe paradise before huge buildings will be restored.
