Renee, touching comment. I too went with my wife, my best friend & his wife to 7 or 8 CS&N concerts from around the early 70's till one of their last Detroit concerts here at Pine Knob. My best friend passed away last summer and everyone is still going through tough times over the loss.... God Bless you Renee & your Husband too & thanks for sharing your comment with everyone.....

I could watch this over and over. But, but, but, it reminds me of the passing of time and the fragility of existence. I read that life is like a toilet roll - bear with me here - because the nearer you get to the end, the faster it goes. How very true. Weeks go by like days used to. The finish is rushing towards me and I’m more determined to both make the most of every day but also make sure that I make the best lives that I can for my loved ones - including pets.

They are the best group that I have ever heard, (since I was 6 or 7 yrs of age), even still today, to brimg out the best voices of harmony. They inspired me to have a deep desire to learn to play the guitar, by the time I turned 8 yrs of age. I still love to play their songs, to this very day, in the year 2023..,,Wish I had been old enough to join in among the harmony, peace and love, (where millions gathered), at the "Woodstock Concert", in that great year of 1969 , that was held on "Yasgur's Farm, (New York)...sing on into eternity, Crosby, Stills, Nash, (aliso, with NeilYoung). I plan to be there to blend in with your great harmony, in a world, that shall finally be at true peace and love, in sync, with such a melodious- sounding group!!!

My mum and dad bought a Guitar for me at Christmas and no lessons my mum's brother was a guitar player in a band but never showed me nothing and one day my dad was watching the shit soap opera 'Crossroads'and I started plonking on the guitar and He said if you don't stop I'll smash the fucking thing over your arse being young and stupid I tested it, and sure enough that was it. Fast forward 7 months and it's my birthday, and again another guitar, same thing no lessons, no tuner etc but he was watching something else this time and same thing goes on. He broke the guitar over my back this time ? What he did didn't stop me teach myself myself years later.

I was at this Woodstock. Very underated! Just look at the lineup. Every band played great. Traffic was my favorite. They had a lot of magic going on! I was suppose play. Last minute thing, but it never worked out because of the rain. It was going to be with a friend from Jamica a accustic set on a small stage. ( What a mess Woodstiock 50th was! Very sad ending! I was at Bethal a lot of Nazis for security! Yasgurs Farm was great! Had the real vibe. That is where Michael Lang was hanging out. Looked like he was having a good time.

Saw them at the old red barn in Chicago. Now for all you boys and girls who are old enough to remember what the old red barn is or was it now goes by a different name the United Center. The old barn stood right next to where the united center is today in fact, you park on the ground with truly great rock stars country stars, superstars performed, the music and the memories will never be forgotten.

1991 brought the four-CD retrospective Crosby, Stills and Nash, a 78-track celebration of their music that’s now platinum. In 1994, CSN released After The Storm, featuring performances by Stills’ son Christopher and daughter Jennifer, among others. That same year marked CSN’s 25th anniversary, which they celebrated in grand style with a sixty-date tour, including a return visit to the most famous location of their performing career when they lent their special magic to Woodstock ’94. The end of the ‘90s and the new millennium brought a major renewal for CSN and CSNY as the quartet entered the studio to record Looking Forward in 1999, which has now led to three hugely successful concert tours. In 2004, David and Graham released the epic 2-CD collaboration Crosby-Nash, their first album as a duo in many years (their others include the live classic ¬Another Stoney Evening). Today, looking forward continues to describe the separate and joint visions of David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash as they continue to tour, record and advocate for social, environmental and political justice. Solo commitments notwithstanding, Crosby, Stills and Nash have always been about community, and both as world citizens and as artists, their dedication is unwavering. Just as they will always address the important issues facing our society, CSN will forever remain three together in song.

Like a National Monument live on stage and Made in America! ~ Hey, that's my friend Jody "The KIller" Cortez on drums. It's his 55nd birthday today! An absolute monster on the drum kit! He played on the first Cinderella Record and was responsible for creating all those rock anthems like Night Songs and Nobody's Fool, Jody's played with Billy Idol, Sam Kinison, Phil Collins and Christopher Cross. His brother Dean Cortez is the bass player in the Jazz band Hiroshima. I remember watching this on TV in L.A in 94! Kings X was also a great stand out at Woodstock 2. ~

This is awesome music which should live on and be played for the millennials who don’t know what is truly talented music. I absolutely love them and just look at how many others do too. Give them the credit due for continuing to play and entertain us 50 yrs later. Yes, the backup group should have credit too. For those of you too young to understand, you try to keep your talents alive and well as you age...thank you CSN for sharing your lives all throughout time to passing ❤️

That weekend I was playing bass for some guy named Donnie Sawyer, opening for Tracy Byrd, not 20 miles away from where Woodstock II was going on, dammit. We had driven up from Nashville, met up with the other guys, and were driving to the gig in a motor home, when we hit the traffic jam it was causing. Would have loved to have been there, but had bills to pay!!

That show was amazing and so incredibly special. Their muscianship was stellar as always, and you can't beat those beautiful harmonies. For me, the real standout was Crosby (RIP 😥❤) ~ he never faltered! Not using IEMs and relying on blowback moniters is a feat in and of itself, especially in an outdoor venue of that size. That is unbelievably difficult! I lived so close, I loved going to shows, and there were so many great acts that were bucket list types, I kind of regretted not going. Given what the conditions ended up being and what it sadly devolved into, I was glad I didn't. A lot of once in a lifetime, truly memorable performances nonetheless.
