it sure brings a lot of memories from my younger days during the 70's in Teheran before Mr. Carter shipped God's agent on earth to bring misery and famine to take us 1400 years back to stone ages!!!

A lot going on here. A lot. First of all, they had to end - Stills was paying them more than he was making. Second, great music but did you see ONE ounce of joy? SS smiles, sort of, once or twice. Odd. Third, whatever went on with GN and NY was uncool and when David came out it was for a song SS had written for him after the death of Christine, but SS ignores him the entire song. And at the very end, SS turns to talk to David and asks, 'Where is everybody.' David says something a little unintelligible, but it's not hard to infer, then says, "It's cool." What horrible vibes. SS's wife was pregnant, so things were changing for him, but this whole thing makes me sad.

Stephen Stills in '85 is the best guitarist I have ever seen. I saw Jimmy Page, Carlos Santana, Jerry Garcia, Bo Diddley, Dickey Betts and many more. This cat, Steven, was amazing!

Your opinion and am happy to respect it. But I disagree. Those harmonies, as others have pointed out, are damn good. There was a reason those popularity continued after NY’s departure.

I was 9 yo and grew up in a campus neighborhood during Woodstock. Heard a lot about it from the “hippies” 😊❤️ really nice, well mannered students that lived in the neighborhood. They interacted so nicely with us appalachian kids whose parents moved north for work. Awesome memories especially the pretty girls that would flirt with us boys. 😉😉

My favorite CSN, excellent vocal arrangements, especially the studio version. Masterpiece really. Kudos to Steven Stills.

Watching this with Stills coming in late, taking over, at the end of the video, it looks like Mike is pissed at Stills for his uninspired solo.

I have attended a great many concerts over the years- all the big names, but CSN (no Young!) is a real standout. I saw them on this tour, 1989, at the outdoor concert shell in Kapi 'Olani Park, Waikiki. Magnificent show.

So I saw Crosby ,Stills, & Nash at the Rosemont Theatre in the Chicago Suburbs in '92..... It was a fantastic show!!.... They had a raffle... before the concert... and a bunch of people won free passes.... to get signings from Crosby Stills and Nash backstage after the show.....(we weren't lucky enough to win one of those). So we decided to go out and wait by their tour buses cuz we knew they had to go that way eventually........It took about 45 minutes for the autograph signings..... All the other fans had gone home.. so we just waited patiently for them to come out.... and all the sudden here they came... just the three of them walking out.... Steven went into his bus and reached into this big barrel refrigerator and grabbed a beer..& opened it and chugged it down and then fell back on his couch for a minute or two.... I could see him through the window in his bus....He was really charged up from the final guitar solo at the end of the show.....And then he came out.... David and Graham went inside and had a drink or something (non-alcoholic of course).. and then they came out and hung out with the 5 of us ..for about 15 minutes.... Just talking to them about where they were headed and anything that came to mind... I had bought one shirt that just had a picture of Steven playing his guitar...... And he took that shirt into his bus and put it on his table and signed .. And then brought it back out to me and I gave him a big high five for signing my shirt!!!...... I had another Crosby Stills and Nash shirt that I had all three of the guys sign...... And they just hung with us for about 15 minutes and then they were on their way...... We still talk about that night quite often....
