The first time I heard CSNY they were playing Suite Judy Blue Eyes. The song blew my mind then carried me away to nirvana. Four Way Street was the first album of theirs purchased at Record Stop in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY. It was a mint (used) two-record album of their live concert. That was 1976. I miss this dynamic quattro. Still blown away.

As a 73 yo female whose Dad in Massachusetts wouldn't let his 17 year old daughter go to Woodstock (I have never forgiven him, but as a Mom I understand now ) I have listened to, loved these guys, and have all their old vinyls, a bit worn and with occasional clicks, that I still listen to on my now antique KLH stereo record player. Their harmony is still stellar, and their old fingers still make their guitars sing! Thanks guys for decades of joy!

Wonder how many Dads in 1969 would have said okay? I discovered CSN(Y) from a girlfriend in college, was hooked, and still search out their rare stuff. The harmony they discovered one lazy Canyon afternoon at Mama Cass's is one of rock's legendary moments.

I'm a huge CSN fan. And as many of you looked for my favorites immediately after playing this video. Lee shore being at the top of my all time favorite songs. A Crosby masterpiece. If you haven't watched him preform it with the great Nash then stop reading and look for "Crosby and nash CNN".. Anyways, I'm listening to this song, thinking to myself, Crosby's the purest version is the best. But then, here, Mr Stills brings his delicate song-first approach with the guitar harmonics and beautiful sound (on this beautiful squier -he used it on the reunion concert as well with the exact settings - AMAZING! ). Pure magic these three I tell you.

Bill Graham put together THREE 1989 earthquake benefits: Santa Cruz, Watsonville and San Francisco with amazing musicians. Only Bill could have done this.... Bob Hope!!!! and David Crosby on the same stage, hence the Hope and Crosby reference. We got the very cool significance and loved seeing them both. I believe these were broadcast locally and the tickets for us lucky fans and survivors were very affordable. Bill raised a lot of money for the relief of a lot of very needy people. Bill is and was our hero. Every time I talked with him, he was very kind, generous and compassionate; a very nice guy, salt of the Earth and solid. We were very lucky to be at many Bill Graham presents shows. This was one of the really good ones. THANKS!

Not to sound preachy, but it’s touching that Crosby is cleaned up and back in top form. His wonderful voice has returned to its former amazing tone and clarity. Congratulations, David, and we hope you have many more years of music-making remaining.

As many have stated, CSN are about as close to magic as you can get without a magic wand. It's a shame, now that Crosby has cleaned up ,apologized for harms and slights, they refuse to sing together again. I don't know if Stills is still capable, but if he is, wouldn't it be a wonderful, beautiful thing to see them together again? Even if their voices cracked on the high ranges, it would be the best medicine for them, us and wouldn't be surprised if they changed the mood from hate to understanding, and forgiveness. Everybody could use some of that.

I saw them in St Louis in 1996 they were fabulous! I waved at David Crosby and he smiled and waved back. I was in the 3rd row so we could see each other really well. Great concert! Thanks for posting!

Hey Jinx, I can relate - I am 73 now. I grew up north of Chicago. I didn't make it to Woodstock either. A dear friend of mine who grew up in Michigan - she made it! I do have a t-shirt from the 50th Anniversary in 2019. Just so sorry we lost David Crosby this year.

Back when I was in Jr High School, our bus stop was in front of my best friends house. We played CSN&Y's 4 Way Street album almost every morning back then in 1971..... My best friend & ended up going to 7 CS&N/CSN&Y concerts throughout the years.... Great Band, love those guys.... So sad to hear about David passing away, but hey, he did end up doing pretty good seeing that he made it to what, 81.... God Bless You David Crosby, RIP & Thank you for all the great years of music....

Stephen Stills in '85 is the best guitarist I have ever seen. I saw Jimmy Page, Carlos Santana, Jerry Garcia, Bo Diddley, Dickey Betts and many more. This cat, Steven, was amazing!
