Thanks Kev. I never spotted the loading port so I thought if anyone has got one of these this might be useful. Cheers, Alan.

Although I may be totally overthinking this, I have a real aversion to running steel against steel down the barrel. (bb's vs rifling) for me I only use BB's in a smooth bore.

You are not at all. I completely agree. As I said at the end of the video I will only be using it with pellets. I never use BBs in any of my airguns that have rifled barrels. I really don't understand why some manufacturers make dual ammo airguns with rifled barrels, smooth bore yes, rifled no. Cheers, Alan.

I wrote that statement before I watched to the end! Good info!

@@WalnutandSteel Thanks. I just thought that if there was someone out there with one of these and wanted to shoot BBs, this might be helpful. Cheers, Alan.

Hi Alan. Slight overkill with the loading technique ;) LOL. So can you also load multiple pellets ? I've only ever used lead pellets and have no experience with steel BB's. Cheers Rob

Hi Rob. No, you can only load pellets one at a time. You should really only use steel BBs in a smooth bore, using them in a rifled barrel can damage the rifling. I don't really understand why some manufacturers make dual ammo airguns with rifled barrels, it's not a good idea. Cheers, Alan.

@@RetroSteamTech Technically the BB's may lose some velocity due to air leakage through the rifling. Probably very minor, but worth considering. Lead pellets are self sealing from their profile and good for any barrel type. Interesting. Cheers Rob.
