I've got one of those in .22 in its original box. It did go full auto for a while, but it was resealed and sorted out by a well-known gentleman who is a CO2 professional here in England. So now, it works great. Good video mate, you just picked up another subscriber. 👍🏻

I have one these which sat in a drawer for years. It leaked Co2 through the barrel as soon as a bulb was fitted but I always felt that one day I would find a seal kit for it to restore it. Then, to the rescue comes Henry Ford Airguns. I bought the seal kit included a new valve stem and away she went. It holds gas forever and rarely jams. A truly special pistol from an era when Crosman made superb airguns. The likes of which we'll never see again. I read somewhere that Crosman have lost the ability to remake the 600. Thanks for a great presentation. I have subscribed. Best wishes from England.
@JaceBellАй бұрын
@@darrencady4261 Yes my pistol leaked also, but I dumped tons of Crosman pelgun oil into it and the pistol eventually became air tight. As far as remaking this pistol, I believe it is absolutely possible. Yes airguns from this era were great. Most rifles came with wooden sticks instead of plastic. They all leak eventually. When they work, and I still have one that does, they are great shooting pistols. Fast and accurate. They can be modified to hit 450-500 fps. Crosman should have reissued a modernized version of this classic
@JaceBell18 күн бұрын
@Desperado3248 I think every 600 that I have seen modified to shoot faster has had a longer barrel and new seals installed. I would love to see an updated version of this from Crosman. Thanks for watching.

Okay Jay so here's the deal crossman hired a guy to engineer that pistol he was a sewing machine engineer and he took so many years to perfect it that by the time they got to market the market had moved to cheaper guns and they lost the money on it

I have always thought that Crosman pistols that have originated from this era mimic the Luger pistol. Especially the shape of the trigger and the angle of the grip. Even the sights in my opinion look similar to the Luger sights. Some of the old Crosman models are still being sold today and still retain the same look. Thanks for tuning in.

@@JaceBell i have only recently became interested in pistols with public mass "endings" occurring everywhere more often, i dont see myself going to a school for anything being 60 years old, but grocery stores and car jackings at stop lights and stop lights , malls etc, i dont want to be a hero but i dont want to be simply a witness nor victim, so ive been researching concealed less l3athal tools. thats what brought me to your video, i saw 600 and thought "wow thats a lot of pellets or bbs, i wonder what fps or joules it has , is it auto, etc... " , but was not disappointed , as old as that gun is you showed i wouldnt shoot it either, and yes the extended barrel behind grips take way the 1911 look now on a second look , i did sub after watching and hope to visit

Yes the gun violence is very unfortunate. It seems like it happens most in big cities, but I understand it can happen anywhere. My brother carries a pistol (concealed legally) and his training tells him to avoid the use of it if possible. Also with all of these violent incidents that have occurred, many folks like you are looking for a self defense option. CO2 pistols like the 600 are not the way to go in my opinion. They are way to under powered. If it has to be an airgun for self defense, I would choose the best pcp pistol on the market today. Which is the Huben GK1. Good luck with your search, thanks for commenting, and happy New Year.
