Don't use BBS in this gun. It will shoot non-lead pellets up to 600 fps and deadly with h&n hornets. I've seen ppl take down foxes with this airgun. Definitely not a toy nor your pellet gun of yesteryears

So I can use Sharp edge pellets? Because most of the pellet guns I use that have blowback features do not allow me to shoot those type of pellets as they always tend to get jammed or sometimes not even fit in the cartridge

Also steal bb’s will really ruin your rifling In the barrel. I know the gun is rated for both types of ammo but keep in mind that the barrel quality is already bad and shooting steal in it will make it worse. A soft lead pellet is much more forgiving.

Pretty sure steel bbs won't ruin the rifling provided they're coated bbs (like the copper coated copperhead bbs).

I have one. I love that it's top break but however only the handle part is the steel and the barrel is plastic.

The barrel itself is steel. The shroud around the barrel is plastic. Grip frame, frame and internal critical parts are metal.

You should try building your own. I bought a 20$ "Buzzbee Predator" nerf gun at Wal Mart and turned it into a bolt action 400FPS airsoft sniper with zero experience working on guns. Gut out the nerf safety plunger, glue a empty tire valve to reduce the nerf diameter to 5.5mm, add a metal 6mm barrel and you got an airsoft. You can get metal barrels from either brake lines or resuable drinking straws. Both of which are mass sold in 4.5mm(.177), 5.5mm(.22) and 6mm(.243) The Crosman Vigilante is basically CO2 tank---->valve controlled by trigger---->cylinder that holds the shots rotated by trigger--->barrel.

@@anthonydanaher2146 Wow that is ridiculous! I understand though, as my country, Canada, wants to slowly copy your gun laws and has legislation in progress to that effect. Its actually why I built the rifle in the first place lol. Im advocating against the law and its a demo item that i show people to explain to them that a proposed airsoft ban in the bill wont stop anyone except for the law abiding. Anyway, dont build that rifle if its a crime, as I dont want to be held responsible for encouraging someone to break the law.

I bought one it is a piece of S… the cylinder does not rotate dependably. I bought the Triple Threat Comes with 3 barrels they all are not dependable .
