Eric Dahlkamp , no unfortunately do not have the time. If I did it would be between the Cross18 and the W17 designs. Both are appealing to me.

Yeah I saw that on their site. Would be cheaper to buy plans and have the same done locally rather than ship and import to Australia. Also considering a foam sandwich approach if I do build, again short on time so a pipe dream at the moment. Also looking at used Haines Hunter tramp tris, an older design but still goes very well and is versatile.

Hydroman 7 owned a nice Tramp almost 20 years ago now. Great boat, a tank really, but loads of room.

Just mounted a small car battery run winch off the trailer. Got it at Harbor Freight.

Quedo genial trimaran con bimini. Subiste la altura de la botavara? Tengo la intención de hacer un trimaran W17 muy parecido al cross 18 y me encanto la idea del bimini saludos

Javier Serra yes I raised boom by sailing with 1st reef tucked in. I do have another shorter main sail that lets me use the bimini without reefing. Shade is wonderful!

Javier Serra I agree. Trimaran would be great for a small family. The new Jim Brown 20 or W17 are great options.
