Good tip. Any comments regarding binding position and balance for classic style skis? For instance, will your center of gravity shift excessively forward if your bindings are "too forward"? Thanks.

These are skate skis so I leave mine set at 0. For classic you certainly have the option of moving the binding forward for more grip and back for better glide. I sometimes play with this but often find not much difference.

Just curious why did you go straight to ordering new bindings and the same one? Why not try and fix it or find a spare part

The plastic piece was broken off of both bindings...no way to repair that. New bindings fit on those rails so very easy to replace them ..just slide them on.
