Lovely park. I am glad to see an RV Park that is moving away from park models. We have seen too many going the opposite way and they look like mobile home parks instead of glamping.

First time here. We had a great time in the area and really liked the campground.

Close is the closed Ghost Town in the Sky. We use to take kids there eons ago. Some of the folks that visited. Dan Blocker, who played Hoss Cartright on Bonanza, Jon Provos,t who played Timmy from the popular television show, Lassie, The Beverly Hillbillies, Burt Reynolds, Jerry Mathers, Leave it to Beaver, etc. While Burt Reynolds was starring in Gunsmoke, he made a celebrity appearance at Ghost Town, participating in the gunfights. At the old gift shop there is a plaque of the celebrates that visited Ghost Town.

Love Maggie Valley. I visited my father a few years ago when he had a park model on the creek in that campground. Was surprised with how nice the weather is there. His health deteriorated and he had to move and sell his rig. Definitely a hidden treasure of an rv park.

We started RVing in 2015 and this was the first park we stayed at on our first trip. We have been back at least five times and love the park. The owner lives on the hill and is a great guy. Thanks for a great video!

Very nice area in Maggie Valley, although it's lost a lot of businesses in last 20 yrs it's such a beautiful area, be sure and go to the Cataloochee wildlife area take a snack or to go dinner in the evening and enjoy on the tailgate the vast array of wildlife that come out, two hours before sundown, elk, deer, all kinds. Love the mountains around this area!!

It’s had some rebound. We found plenty of nice places to eat and lots of shops. We drove down to Cherokee and saw more elk than we could count. Really special.

Be sure to drop by J. Arthur's for a wonderful meal (plus it's beautiful inside)! Come to find out, they also own a restaurant here in our home town (Stuart, FL) called Manero's (both famous for their Prime Rib)! We love Maggie Valley, but haven't been back in many years. Time for a revisit!

How are the roads coming in to the park. Through the mountain......
@iLoveRVlife2 жыл бұрын
No problem. 4 lane all through the mountains and up to the road to the campground. Easy access in and out of the park.

That is so pretty. If you ever travel to Pennsylvania , we love Promised Land state park. It's really nice and plenty of space in between. Also full hookups . No internet thou. It's a state park.

It looks like a Good place and as usual you do such a Great Job showing us around. On a side note: Please remove the cover to your electrical panel, after cutting off the power ac and dc, and check all your connections for tightness and foreign objects. Much to my surprise when I checked mine I found two screws laying in the bottom of the panel. They were unused screws for holding cable that vibrated loose and were bouncing around in the panel as we travel. If one of these got between the right wires it would have been very bad. Please check yours the use connections and the unused.
