The rear shock upgrade that moves the shocks to the out side of the frame at the top makes this truck crawl 100% better. The bead lock ring from the inner moved to the outer really sets these rims off and would look even better with the gray body.

Question Steve. Just starting the build and starting with the bead locks and wheels. How the hell do I get those tires in the bead lock seal? Do you use a flat head to help it in or am I going to scratch the rim? Please help.

For your rear shocks... Did you find the screws were too short? Did you contact them or Just buy new screws?

They rear screws were ok, luckily I had others to replace the missing 18mm ones

Question, Steve. From what I can tell, of the 5 metal bumper options available for the model, only two have a winch mount (the Wrap-Around Stinger and the Wrap-Around Flat-Top). Does this mean I won't be able to mount the winch onto any of the other 3 options? How does it actually mount? Thanks and I hope you'll reply.

I just finished my build of the C kit also & I love it. As far the missing screws... That's a problem from the factory I read somewhere and since the last batch they have fixed it. All in all I really enjoyed putting it together and detailing it. Cheers

Looks like a nice truck at all but I cannot stand the axle mount servo that’s a dealbreaker for me at that price point! Love the hard body and the detail but I just can’t get past the servo!

Thank you for the Vid Steve, Sorry for being so late in the piece, but did you find there was excessive slop in the drive train with your model? Haven't bought one yet, but the Cross RC ones seem to catch my eye a lot... despite people saying they have big deficiencies. The slop in the drive system was a big thumbs down for a few.. and for a crawler it's not a good thing at all. Stood down from work for another month from Mid Aug to Mid Sept so thinking of getting one of these to build and turn it into an un-driveable work of art I'm too scared to scratch lol... maybe a TRX-4 sport then lol.. Cross RC do make some rather attractive kits though... Sorry for the long comment.. Cheers mate
