I love the QSnap hoop system because you can customize the size (the 3" extensions are cheap, and allow you to size in 3" increments). With small to medium size projects (up to about 9 x 12"), you can clamp the fabric outside the stitching area. This allows you to keep the project in hoop until finished - saves time and there are no hoop marks on the finished piece. Of course, larger pieces will need to be hooped in sections. The QSnap frame, a round tube, is easier to hold than a traditional hoop. Extra fabric that flops around and catches your thread can be snugged up against the frame with QSnap Huggers, solving an annoying problem. Finally, I haven't found anything that stretches the fabric as taut as QSnap and keeps it tight without any further adjustment. I've been stitching for many decades and discovering QSnap was a game changer.

You forgot to mention some place to store your needles. They won’t stay firm, in the little slips they come in, for very long. Would be really nice to open your little stitch bag and all your needles slide out- great if you have kids and pets- experience tells me that. Imagine a vet visit at midnight because your puppy grabbed the needles before you did.
