How have the stock cables and strings held up on the Vital X 430.? Got one on the way. I got permission to hunt a parcel, but I have to use archery gear.

I been thinking about trying those Killer Instinct Hypr KE and compare them to my Pile Driver arrows. I want to see what the kinetic energy behind them is out of my Vital X430. Don't see many reviews on these.

I’d like to see a review if you do. I loved the design & weight but couldn’t get great accuracy with a wide range of fixed & mech heads. Also pull & re-glue the inserts. I lost 2 in my target & one bolt was not fletched properly. I contacted KI about the issues but heard nothing back

I think the HYPR KEs are a great option! Main thing I dislike on the Piledrivers is the non standard ID

Just curious.. Have you ever tried to nock tune the bare shafts, and, then, fletch them with the nock in the best position ?

I have not. If I’m not doing a fletched nock tune then I’ll spine index, fletch, and verify by shooting through paper

Great option! I believe they are the same shaft as the HYPRs but a heavier insert.

I like the ke except for the fletchings flying off. 475 GR with 125 GR broadhead. I ended up stripping all the fletchings off and putting nothing 2" quick fletchs on them. KI is aware but wouldn't send replacements. Said to contact the seller.

Actually, modern crossbows shoot arrows. Bolts were the term used way back when for crossbows firing projectiles under 16” without fletchings. While the industry still calls them “bolts” to differentiate from vertical bow arrows…today’s crossbows technically also shoot arrows.
