The "EQ Swap" is my favorite technique. I normally try to do the "seamless" technique but I always feel rushed, but now the "EQ Swap" seems to be better suited for my style of mixing. I loved everything about the tutorial and not only am I going to try the "EQ Swap" I'm going to try to use Highs in "Seamless" since I usually only do the Mids and the Lows. #GameChanger

I’m a big fan of layering, I think it brings high energy and takes the listener on a journey. It allows them to hear different elements of songs together. Loads of my pals ask me ‘what was that remix’ when really it was just two songs which absolutely bang together 😮‍💨. Love the video Jamie 👍🏽

I loved this video. As a beginner these simply explained videos are so helpful. Not too fast like some. Thought it was cool how you showed two different ways for the same technique. But my favorite was the layering tips. I feel like this will definitely improve my sets. As well as make me feel more confident as a DJ. #wearecrossfader

EQ Swap is definitely my favourite one to keep the crowd engaged and keep full control over the transition. When I started mixing I would just fade in and fade out but as soon as you start doing multi genre mixes with diverse drum patterns and basslines, you need to get more creative to create smooth blends.

Love the 3rd technique!!! Layering from my perspective helps keep the audience in the groove of music and doesn’t confuse them by gently blending and layering in the next track, but employs impactful cross overs by introducing the lows at a moment when everyone may have though there would be a break in the track, but the rhythm keeps going! #wearecrossfader

I actually use classic notation because it’s what I learned. But this video showing to start the next track on the drop of the previous was very helpful. The blending and transitions are way more of an art then what people and musicians like myself have thought. Thank you for this very informative video and structuring it the way you do!

great vid! Layering is amazing and it might take a bit more time to nail down (practice, knowing the songs you're playing perfectly, etc). And although I use eq swap and layering depending on what I'm mixing, I've been playing around with using both on the same mix, playing around with the nuances that can be achieved thru using them creatively (aside from just fading one song to the next). I'm not quite there yet, but I sure enjoy watching and learning from you guys!! #wearecrossfader
