Chris is absolutely a born athlete, to be a world champion bodybuilder, carrying all that excess muscle, which is definitely not adapted to cardiovascular work, and to beat a relatively light and lean person like will who often does long session cardio is seriously impressive

It is impressive but keep in mind the row competition was based on burning 30 calories each time and a 250lb man (Chris) burns 30 calories WAY faster than a 180lb man (Will).

@@mozerm the weight doesn’t make much of a difference in terms of rowing. It’s all about how strong and how long you kick and pull. So the stronger and further you pull, the more distance you clock in and more calories you burn on the rowers. So it’s still possible for will who’s much lighter to be able to pull and burn more. So for Chris he definitely use more muscle and brute strength to pull since he wasn’t leaning back much when he pull. But props to him for the burpees. A man his size doing burpees is pure killer!

Just home from building up jogging, two years ago walking alone seemed a dream and even surgeons didn't think it'd happen. You remind me of a guy I met during roller skating I started a chat with him cuz he could skate backwards and I told him how he does it and how long did it take and he told me he had a motor cross accident and doctors said he’ll never walk again but rollerblading was part of his therapy and 2 years later he was walking and skating better than most of the people there, so keep on the grind I believe in you

@@KR-mm4el I was born with leg calvé perthes (turns part of the hip bone necrotic) parents didn't bother with recommended treatment, add childhood morbid obesity and I basically got no hip femur in my right hip, scoliosis from growing up with such a massive length difference in my legs, osteoarthritis in my left knee, right hip and wrist from compensating for the lack of femur. Doctors did what they could through treatment (surgeries, pain rehabilitation, physiotherapy etc.) and for a while they thought the bone never stopped being necrotic. Got to a point life wasn't worth living (couldn't really sit or walk) and gave it a last shot, held onto a treadmill for dear life, walked a few meters, progressive overload ever since, it hasn't sustained significant damage so now it's a case of doing whatever the pain allows and I can get a new hip when I decide the pain is no longer do-able, I just turned 29 and they don't last forever so putting it off until it starts to decrease quality of life, at the moment it's just going up. @More boners less loners That's incredibly inspiring, I really hope to pick up skating one day as well. There's a lot of just trying everything and hoping something sticks. Everything that works out I absolutely love though, pure luck or just because I'm aware how big of a deal it is.
