CrossFit Games 2021 | Day 3 & 4 | Haley Adams

The final two days at the 2021 CrossFit Games were nothing short of amazing! While I’m still bummed I didn’t exactly reach the goal I set out for, I have peace knowing I did everything I could to earn the title of 5th Fittest on Earth and Fittest American Woman.
The 2021 CrossFit Games may of just finished, but the work has already begun for 2022. We know what we have to do!

I absolutely love how calm she stays and how level headed she is. What a gift at such a young age. Haley IS the future of this sport, and that give me a lot of hope for CrossFit. She should be over the top proud of her showing. It was beyond top shelf!

I was disappointed for Hayley at the end of the Games but seeing Tasia's reaction makes me feel better. I keep forgetting she is only 20 years old I feel she has been around forever!

Her accomplishment is amazing. She is the only female crossfit athlete who doesn't abuse steroids. It is obvious in her physique and strength and the fact that she is able to place and compete against women who are obvious abusers of banned substances is amazing. Go Haley! I have such respect for you.

@@summerevans8183 I know they get tested, but there are ways of cycling on and off gear and they get away with it. It is obvious that many of these athletes abuse PEDs.

Shout out to the editor. Man, that was an impressive, dynamic powerful edit. The way they weaved together the different days events and contrasted the things Haley was strong in with the things that she found challenging and all as a callback to the beginning when they asked her what her best events are if she could choose. Great. Glad to see her this year and hopefully see her next year. BPN keep sponsoring her. She's strong mentally and a great competitor. Just a little more muscle in the off-season and she could be on that podium and eventually take down Tia.

Biased? Well, if you think so, every year is biased.. all years heavy weights are in 3-4 events

This Games definitely was heavier. Normally everyone is complaining because they want to see heavier weights. Haven't heard a peep about that after these Games. 😂 Personally, thought too heavy. Weights are at the top of the CF triangle. I'd liked to have seen more long runs, etc.

I do think they were biased, because it was not only the heavy bar bell in almost every event, you had the odd object, like the sand bag, the yoke, the sled, the pig. Particularly events 6/7 were in my opinion, redundant and punishing athletes twice. Haley did great after that recovering from that blow, and she said so, most days especially the first 2-3 the programming was hard for her. But I admire her composure and maturity, she handled herself with a lot of maturity and dignity, more than I would.

Speaking of the peg board event. That last no rep she got was NOT a no rep. He didn’t even give it to her with out hesitation. I played it back and saw nothing that every other athlete was doing. Plus, it was exactly the same every time she came down. He jacked her with that call. But what you going to do. I am proud of how she handled it. I would of went off on that one. The first one was a no brainer but that last call was horrible!

Her spirit, hard work and determination is like a glow around her shes unique in many ways. I also like that her body is strong and fit but her physique isnt overwhelmed with muscle and roid bulges like most of the other top competitors its obvious when you know how muscle develops and peaks. The protruding watery abs, veiny deltoids, and bulging glute muscles are tell tale signs of how roids fill out not to mention all the acne on the backs.
