Crossing A Line | Lyrics
They’ll tell you I don’t care anymore
And I hope you’ll know that’s a lie
Cause I’ve found what I have been waiting for
But to get there means crossing a line
I don’t know how to warn you / for what I’m gonna say
Cause you’re holding so tight to / what I’m taking away
I got demons inside me / so I’m faced with a choice
Either try to ignore them / or I give them a voice
And it’s keeping me up at night
Worried it’s not alright
Holding back things you don’t know
And it’s keeping me up at night
Worried it’s not alright
You’re not gonna like where this goes
And they’ll
Tell you I don’t care anymore
And I hope you’ll know that’s a lie
Cause I’ve found what I have been waiting for
But to get there means crossing a line
So I’m crossing a line
It’s not about status / we know it never was
Cause what good is the kingdom / when you’re missing the love
This is not a goodbye now / I’m not going away
No I don’t have the answers / but I do have the faith
And it’s keeping me up at night
Worried it’s not alright
Holding back things you don’t know
And it’s keeping me up at night
Worried it’s not alright
You’re not gonna like where this goes
NO

I think I respect Mike more than anyone in the music industry. When he was in Linkin Park he wrote most the lyrics with Chester, rapped, sang, played guitar, and produced. Now after Chester's death, he continues to do the same. He turned something tragic, into a positive with his music. If my best friend committed suicide I would give up. But Mike kept going. But he also is honest. Yes some of his songs have positive messages like Crossing a Line and Cant Hear You Now but in Over Again, Hold it Together and Place to Start he let's his emotions take over. He just writes about how he feels. He also seems like an extremely humble guy Uve gotta respect this guy.

I hate how in his streams, so many people just want to ask about Chester. In interviews and fan meet and greets, it's all about Chester. As someone who has lost a friend to suicide, I understand how much it hurts just to hear their name. Let him live his life, guys. Chester is fantastic, and will never truly die, but Mike has a life of his own. Let him live it without a constant reminder of his best friend

Start seeking the knowledge that has a value in these days. Seek ye 1st the KINGDOM OF GOD and then all other stuff shall be added into your live. The earth is DONE and TIME IS TUNNING OUT. It`s all over. We live in the last century. No more coming. THE NEW YORK CITY - a proof that the movie: THEY LIVE was a doc. film and filled with truth. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHatdpqqgJyUaMk Still, no wise man is a drag queen. Only the FEAR OF GOD, keeps us wise, without it, we turn dumb again. Aren`t it ironic? - we call ourselves intelligent yet missing the FEAR OF GOD and replacing it with pointless "education". So are we truly educated, by killing off all that has a breath? - cutting off trees, while live in an illusions that : oh don`t worried, we will plant these back soon. Do we not know that FOR A SMALL TREES TO BECOME A HEALTHY STRONG FOREST, A HUMAN LIFETIME MUST PASS. We, who plant the seed of the trees, DO NOT SEE THESE RASING UP. Nor do our Children before they are old. Grandchildren in between their lives (ages 40 or 50 and up) - they may have a chance for it. But as we keep cutting these off , all the chances then are taken away. - we killing off the animals - WHAT WILL WE THEN EAT? - We build all back a digital and not real - chasing after the illusion of living forever here on this dead earth. Yet not realizing that for a human to survive and live digital - A CHANGE IN THE DNA MUST TAKE PLACES. - Yet millions humans believe that they stay human - THE DO NOT STAY HUMAN - EVEN BIBLE PROOF IT. So let me ask once again: ARE WE EDUCATED OR NOT? Let me share with you all another proof that proofs EARTH IS FLAT AND THE SUN IS CLOSE: SOLAR PANELS - these won`t work if that version of our earth is the way nasa tells us. a little thinking and putting the dots together and a REAL AND LOGICAL ANSWER IS ADDED AMONG OTHERS. - that`s how easy it is to research. Wait. I do think that I can share even another proof: The science channels: as we all take ourselves as highly educated then we should be able to notice a lot - right? - therefore if you all have notice the same I have, then you TRULY KNOW AND SEE THAT THEY, (NASA) NEVER HAVE SEND A THING OUT OF THE EARTH. - THEY PLACE THESE ALL AROUND ON THIS EARTH. Yes, they do a show for us and send them up in the sky for a moment, but all of these come back down soon as their “fake show for us is over” - here is wise to ask: WHAT GOES ON BEHIND THE CURTAINS? Therefore the question I ask from you all: DID YOU MANGE TO NOTICE THE FAKESNES OF IT ALL? The question form bible to us: TO WE HAVE EYES TO SEE AND EARS TO EAR? and my question: DID YOU ALL NOTICE? - both are the same question just asked a little different: Therefore to have EYES THAT TRULY SEE = TO NOTICE ALL THERE IS TO NOTICE. Music concerts = harvesting human energy. Again, young souls, do researching about FREEMSONRY. Why do you all want to be ignorant and live in NOT KNOWING STUFF. How can you all be safe an fine - if the real harm is unknown to you? Start making a list of HARD QUESTIONS AND THEN GO AND SEEK OUT ALL THE ANSWERS. Truth hurts only a moment, but lies hurt forever. People, come to REPENTANCE AND LETS RETURN BACK HOME/HEAVEN, a wicked heart cannot enter. A change must accrue. A change of heart and a change of mind. Lets explain human lifetime: 0 - 12 years = innocent childhood, 13 - 19 = teenage years, also the start of the age of responsibility. 20 - 60 yeas = Active adulthood and 60 - 120 = old age. So? When we die as children 0 - 12 years = not dying in sin and no going into torment, but immediately in the precent of GOD. When we die as teenagers (13 - 19), it`s the time to START TO COME TO REPENTANCE or when we die, we are at risk of dying in sins and going down to torment. When we die as ADULTS (in 20 - 120 years) and not come to REPENTANCE, and IF WE NOT AVOID SINNING AT ALL COST then we are 100% at risk of going to burn in THE LAKE OF FIRE. Therefore the age of responsibility starts usually with the age of 13 and yes there will be some special cases when there the age of responsibility never accrues. But stating that it can be even earlier then the age of 13 - it probably ain`t true. kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3S9gJtoatulgdU kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWikeqGdpqyEpas The secret of life: no man nor women ever had the power to voting. And both of them still don`t have it. That power was never given to mankind. Only thing that they did give us was just an illusion of we having power. Kids = coats and Child(children) = little human being. Start to understanding the power of the words and the different meanings these carry. Therefore do not mate with big goats ( non humans) and you never get kids, mate humans and bring forth CHILDREN. “Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.” Proverbs 13:11 (KJV) Accepting the truth: It is not hard for those who have been raise in truth, it`s very hard for those who been comforted with lies while they grow`d up. Sadly many amongst us have been comforted with lies their whole lives. And never for their entire lives have they been hurt with THE TRUTH. 1.) kzbin.info/aero/PLHYOKu9d9bz6NzPIZHvOliDroyiNFwr9v 2.) kzbin.info/aero/PLHYOKu9d9bz5wNVuo3rRX5Afi7hCShbTL 3.) kzbin.info/aero/PLHYOKu9d9bz4C3cQSNdox1372n1iOljGt 4.) kzbin.info/aero/PLHYOKu9d9bz76Dn5iMAmrIofhzUHtJxpu 5.) kzbin.info/aero/PL8bt_6drZB49wkl9av8Lgfcu4m8GF86LV 6.) kzbin.info/aero/PL6jqQQLDUKSzqfchW2-t42mEyjHWuzBnd 7.) kzbin.info/aero/PLHYOKu9d9bz4xUIXjs1NENXj2YuHhnGfG 8.) kzbin.info/aero/PLHYOKu9d9bz6NzPIZHvOliDroyiNFwr9v 9.) kzbin.info/aero/PLHYOKu9d9bz5azWnKymBiZMO_braY0AVr 10.) kzbin.info/aero/PLHYOKu9d9bz7kAox0O-ulTQ6-KF3qHVBY 11.) kzbin.info/aero/PLHYOKu9d9bz4xOnRz6iyM1zVENPjfVKz4 How to get contact with them - the owners of these channels: Email:truthflix@gmail.com Email: rippster4christ@gmail.com Email us at: info@christsforgiveness.com If you would like to feature on this channel, work with Lion Of Judah or have any other enquiries, please get in touch team.lion.of.judah@gmail.com ✉ Email me: jake@jaketran.io Email me: torchofchrist@gmail.com email me at questions@truthunedited.com Dude you are going to burn forever in the lake full of fire and being the whole time in regrets. You say your a gay , THE REPENT. REPENT form all of you sins and go and sin no more. You caring or not caring ain`t change whats awaits you after your time on earth is done. THERE`S NO DEATH, A SPIRIT CANNOT DIE. THERE`S ONLY A DEPARTING ONE`S BODY. I never been chatolic nor do i come form the house of chatolics. My family members are atehists and buddists - they believe these lies. Sadly even they are still blinded by their PRIDE and that keeps then seeking out the MISSING KNOWLEDGE. "So whatever happens, happens," - HERE YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO CHANGE THAT. COME TO REPENTANCE BY CALLING ON THE NAME OF THE LORD AND BORN AGAIN = GET SAVED AND GO UP NOT DOWN. "what happens in the afterlife" - well it is written in the bible: read soul - read it. If We, who die as saved aka saints before the RAPTURE or after - we are going into ABRAHAM`S BOSOM to wait there THE DAY OF JUDGMENT. Later we move into heaven and inherit the NEW EARTH. If we die as wicked sinners - then down into Hell we go and wait there THE DAY OF JUDGMENT and later move into the LAKE OF FIRE - brining there forever. That`s all, nothing more to add nor take away. Dude you are going to burn forever in the lake full of fire and being the whole time in regrets. You say your a gay and carring all the other wicked titles, THE REPENT. REPENT form all of you sins and go and sin no more. You caring or not caring ain`t change whats awaits you after your time on earth is done. THERE`S NO DEATH, A SPIRIT CANNOT DIE. Sadly even they are still blinded by their PRIDE and that keeps then seeking out the MISSING KNOWLEDGE. THE RAPTURE CAN TAKE PLACE EVERY GIVEN MOMENT: What if i`m founded worthy too and VANISH SUDDENLY? WHO then will be still on this earth HELPING THE LOST? And how many will there be? I am fully aware also that the “coin” can be on the other side and I`d be found unworthy to escape and will be left behind to go through the TRIBULATION PERIOD.

Exactly. I remember how angry I was at people claiming LP sold out with One More Light when they have been releasing their albums on their youtube channel for all to watch, listen to and download for free for years. If they were ever only about the money, they'd never have done that. They want their music to get out there and be heard because they know how many of us feel their lyrics. Every album has had a different sound because they are artists and artists care first and foremost about reaching people.

I know this is years old, but I found this now and I want to say: We have no idea what you've gone through. Even those who have endured similar trials can't know how you feel. Those who love us and are gone don't want us to join them before it's time, or worse live in the between state being nothing more than a walking corpse. They saw your light and want you to keep shining. You can mourn on while moving forward, both of these can be true. You are also a light sir, even if it sometimes feels like you're a shadow. The gift of your music you bring gives us so much and I want to say thank you for pushing on, from someone who knows how hard it is to do with not even a drop of what you've been through.

This song is so comforting for even just... trying to find yourself. Making yourself new. Sometimes you feel trapped by your old self and other people's memories of you. But here I feel something lighter encouraging me to keep moving forward and do what feels right, regardless of how I've been before. That's what growing up is about, right?

They'll tell you I don't care anymore And I hope you'll know that's a lie 'Cause I've found what I have been waiting for But to get there means crossing a line I don't know how to warn you For what I'm gonna say 'Cause you're holding so tight to What I'm taking away I got demons inside me So I'm faced with a choice Either try to ignore them Or I give them a voice And it's keeping me up at night Worried it's not alright Holding back things you don't know And it's keeping me up at night Worried it's not alright You're not gonna like where this goes And they'll tell you I don't care anymore And I hope you'll know that's a lie 'Cause I've found what I have been waiting for But to get there means crossing a line So I'm crossing a line It's not about status We know it never was 'Cause what good is the kingdom When you're missing the love? This is not a goodbye now I'm not going away No, I don't have the answers But I do have the faith Oh, and it's keeping me up at night Worried it's not alright Holding back things you don't know And it's keeping me up at night Worried it's not alright You're not gonna like where this goes, no And they'll tell you I don't care anymore And I hope you'll know that's a lie 'Cause I've found what I have been waiting for But to get there means crossing a line So I'm crossing a line

I miss him so much ... 😭. As much energy as it came from and a force that always kicked me in not giving up, and when I thought I would give up something in my life. And often it was life. so his voice always kept me on this side and encouraged me to go through it. And when was your last concert in Prague. This was supposed to be my first LP in my life that I wanted. Because I also didn't have such an easy childhood. so it didn't work out. And then what no one expected happened. after every song I have a chill running down my back. more and more because I am more and more deeply aware of what all the albums actually were. and that's what brings people together. similar problems.. And Love. 😞😞😞🖤❤🖤🙌🤘😞

I have finally cross the line. 5 years ago I lost the love of my life. A couple of years into that we lost Chester. At the time, I was only trying to take my first step to moving forward. Technically, I laid in bed for 3 years crying my heart out; trying to get out depression and anxiety. You never get over what happens when you lose someone but you keep crossing lines and you find yourself moving not on but forward. Thank you, Mike, for this song. Today I am better because I have done more than I thought I could without my best friend. RIP to those we love and have loss.

Mike McDonald All death is tragic and cruel. Yes, even when the worst people die because even they were at least born innocent. But none of it is a mistake. At least I don't think so. Everyone else may believe in a world where life and death are the product of chance. But I don't. I believe in a God who is sovereign, just and merciful.
@christinaknight3355
@christinaknight3355 6 жыл бұрын
mrsticky005 not ALL death is tragic or cruel. I learned this working for hospice 7+ years. Sometimes an elderly person is ready to go, and it's beautiful when they do. Sometimes someone who has an incurable illness for a long time is ready to die, and it's beautiful when you know they're no longer in any pain or discomfort. It can be very sad. It can be unfortunate. There will always be the "what if" feelings. Sometimes it just depends on the circumstances. I also remember many years ago watching my dog, with esophageal cancer, walk up to the veterinarian -almost like he knew they held the key to end his pain- and he laid down by his feet and closed his eyes. He didn't act scared when the needle was in clear sight, he just laid there ready to take his last breath. He went peacefully and that brought comfort to the people who loved him.

Mike said he's inspired by the surviving members of Nirvana.. After Kurt Cobain's death, they changed into Foo Fighters & is still a BIG ROCK BAND to this day.. Who knows Mike might do the same with LP 🤔

Hayden Dale. A new band altogether with all 5 of them. I think I can accept that. It will be very sad cuz Linkin Park will be no more, but I can accept that because Chester was the voice of Linkin Park and without him LP won't be the same. Mike won't be the same. Their music won't be the same. Chester was/is Linkin Park's legacy and I think he deserved to be preserved together with the band. So...yeah. I'm down with the idea of a new band altogether. That said...I think them staying with LP with Mike as the only lead singer might work too. But they can no longer play Chester's era LP songs. It will be totally new. A re-branding. A bit weird but it might worked.

I love the song - as many of yours. But whats so special about it : not only the lyrics - but the piano in the beginning, it gives me goosebumps every single time I hear it!Thank you for all the music you gave us. How can we ever show our gratitude enough?

the first time i listened to this album i bawled my eyes out -- especially at the voice notes from his friends --, and this song still got me good to this day. because where /is/ the line, really? it's different for everyone. i'm glad he managed to cross the one he seemed to face, that other people might've even put down in front of him. i can't imagine how hard that must've been, i dont know how mike managed to do this. i'm more than impressed by him and his strength to keep going and make music still. he's an amazing artist.
