Today Is Day #1 Of Crossing America With Only DoorDash/Uber Eats
Here are the rules:
Every dollar i make has to come from delivery apps like doordash uber eats and instacart, and i must only use the profits to cross the country as fast as possible paying for food, hotels, and transportation.

You're the first KZbinr that I found locally and I did a lot of the things you suggested although I don't like deliver right into downtown Boston. 😊 But as far as Quincy excellent. I’ve been here homeless and living out of a car and sign up for Postmates @ the time, instacart as well. Plus a company called Veyo which is a Uber for medical customers. This slowly got me out of the car most nights and into a hotel, eventually leading to a place of my own. So ya working hard @ gig work can really pay off

Nice work Trevor, you'll nail this, you obviously have the drive to survive. I started doing delivery with a rental from the gig app rental platform hyrecar, and bootstrapped that into an 07 Camry Hybrid over a few months. I ended up spending 6k renting, in hindsight I'd have been better off sinking that 6k into my own vehicle, but it moved the ball down the field from just a $350 cost for the first week . Good luck on your challenge, I gave it a like, and will watch your whole series. I wish we had bicycling as an option here, but the apps don't support it. I took my great stats on DD/UE to show to a "normal" delivery job for a car parts company, m-f 8:30-4:30 @ $16/hr driving their vehicle... I start today!

To be fair, it's tough for people on the side of the highway to start to do what he did because they don't have a cell phone most of time, they are not approved delivery personnel for those services, and a lot of them don't have a bank to get paid for the work they do. If you don't have an address, it's nearly impossible to open up a bank account. If they have the right support system this is definitely possible but it's not easy for somebody that's truly homeless

I did this a few years ago, back in 2021, except I drove the whole way, slept in my car the whole time, and did only Uber eats. Had a great time. Didn’t make any videos on it because the footage got corrupted lol. Anyways yeah good luck on your journey 🤙

I lived in my 1998 Chevy Astro van that I built out, and I worked for doordash. I loved getting walmart orders. since I had a van I could fit almost anything, and after I got there and called they would have me wait til someone brought out the order. so i'd open up the sliding side door and just lay in my bed in the van. the look on the walmart employees (I also worked for walmart for like 3 years back in college) face every single time a new person brought out an order was incredible. especially since they never asked about it, just assumed I was some weird homeless dude.
