i made over $800 this week, still have sunday to go. So many deliveries.....just gotta play the long game....i look at the end of day and end of week pay mainly. The key is to get $1/mile or more. But some days you gotta take a hit and just accept everything you can to get your acceptance rates back up. it's not bad, it just gets old dealing with the same issues over and over and over and over at all the different restaurants. Something I have noticed over the last month or so atleast for myself is that doordash seems busier during the afternoon early part of dinner basically from 11am to about 6/7 sometimes earlier.. and then it just dies like very little orders and mostly bad ones at that.. when usually it was busier at night but my day times have been much better idk exactly why but that's my take as of late..

Hey fun fact: in some markets, they don't even SHOW you any amount of money. And, they only show you the mileage to the customer, hell, they don't even show you the drop-off for the customer so you have NO way to know where you'll end up. I know this cause I just got uber rideshare, and yeah I'm pretty nervous about getting burned accepting one: so I haven't done it yet. Your market seems to be an "upfront pricing" market.... and from what I looked up, the official reason they hide the money in my market is because it's a calculated rate based off the mileage, any waiting, and any surge bonuses. So, it's kind of like the unwanted child of Earn by Time and Prop 22 if they were even less transparent.

It would be interesting if you asked the riders how much they paid for the ride vs your payout. I like to ask my drivers because it's shocking how much the rider pays vs how little the driver gets.

Rideshare in AZ during the summer is non-existent. You only have a couple of rushes and its saturday night after 12AM. Not worth the time or money to do rideshare in the summer;.

I have been watching your videos since back when you lived in Boston and they are awesome! I have been doing uber/lyft/amazon flex/doordash out here in Phoenix since 2017 and I can tell you June-mid August are just trash. Does not start picking up until ASU comes back for the fall semester and it will get better as it cools down and visitors return. Keep up the videos because they are great and good luck out there!

@pedrodoordashsantiago.. my experience with spark is this.. day of the week u go out really don't matter here .. I've had good Saturdays bad Saturdays and the same can be said with say Tuesdays it really does not matter.. I will tell u I have made hundreds in one day on spark and had many orders but also had days I've seen 2 orders all day.. shoo and pay orders are best cause u can control the time it takes.. curbside can be good but I've had wait times form 5 mins to over a hr.. I've seen many of the 50$ 20 orders 40 mile situation.. also from my experience high acceptance or not does not matter either.. best time to spark is after 2pm and till 8pm..mornings are slow imo..I will tell u this after 2 years plus of doing spark I only use them November..December and january.. due to holidays .. black friday..deals for days and people using gifts cards after Christmas there is a extremely high demand for drivers and orders..I've seen over 20 plus orders just waiting to be accepted and back logged .. I will say this thou.. curbside is much slower from orders during these months..hope this [email protected]

if you see $2.xx for a delivery, just auto decline that trash. They prolly dont even have a job. Just being honest, poor people do all types of tricks to get free stuff, taking advantage of doordash and uber eats is no exception. If you see $2.xx or less for a delivery, they cappin trying to get free food lol
