In this episode, I am leaving Kuwait and crossing another border into Saudi Arabia. That means that I won't have to do any border crossings in a while because this country is HUGE! I can't wait to get into the desert and try out my new knobbly tires, but first.. let's try and get across this border.
My book is now available for pre-order in English!

I see lots of terrorists in USA, too .... all that gun shooting, or billionaires who illegally occupy the Department of treasury and destroy Financial aid programs over night ... these are the real vilans, isn't ? Normal people always want peace, earning money for own family and no troubles ... as a sailor I had been in many countries, and no where I had troubles ... always friendliness, openness ... while in the post industrialized Western countries (also in "old Europe") people become more selfish and ego-centric, focussing on own well being. More wealthy people are, more cold hearted they become, thats what I leearnt (just in 6 decades on this planet).

Welcome to Saudi, I’m a Brit and have been living here near Dammam for over three years. You will find everyone wanting to help, offer water and invite you to stay with them. There is so much to explore here, especially in the north and middle of Saudi. Everyone’s will want to know and share your story. So many people speak English here too, especially within the larger cities. The south has lots of mountains. There are places that provide amazing desert glamping. If you decide to visit Bahrain, definitely don’t take your drone, they search bikes and they will either take it or make you break it. So leave it with someone Saudi side if you do decide to do it. I start my KZbin channel in July and will be travelling from UK to NZ. So I am watching your adventure with much excitement. Welcome to Saudi.

Smiles, honesty, welcoming people - so different from what you get in other media. Makes one wanting to go there. Loved the guy at the fuel station; smiling, happy and even telling Noraly to counter-check the returned money. So nice! And one important fact for all these brilliant videos: You slash the prejudice of "dangerous Arabiens" or "dishonest people in the Middle East". For me, all people are equal - regardless of skin colour or where they come from. Normal people, as you can witness in these videos, are usually nice and curious in a friendly way and only want to live there life.

In the '80s i traveled with my dad and some of his Aramcon peers if old land rovers and chevy blazers from Dahran across the Rhub Al Khali to the red Sea where Saudi borders with Yemen then north to Mecca and East again to Riyahd then back to dahran... with just an Aramco exploration map looking for benchposts and a compass...and no a/c. What a trip. Beduin hospitality is so friendly and generous. I am 62 now and I love living vicariously through your videos... I can't wait to see your Saudi. I am sure it has changed immensely from my time there.
