This video was filmed for my “Matt Dubber” channel (link below) and the rest of the series will be published there in the coming weeks as I want to keep the 4x4/travel content separate to the shooting content. The idea of this one is just to show you what you’re missing😁 So head over and subscribe to my other channel if you enjoy this one! kzbin.info/door/OQkm9y84T2PysvQLq7OneA

Hey man I really need your help, what sort of air rifles can fire copperplated slugs? I would love to start hunting deer here in Michigan with an air rifle but only want to use copper plated slugs. I saw in one of your videos you had a copper slug that looked like the slugs you have for for your huban, the ones that have the supper good bc, but instead of being pure lead they where copper plated lead I think. I would love a huban but I work a minimum wage job and cannot afford it lol but I would give my left nut for one. I am thinking about getting a aea Challenger bullpup in .35 or .45. I won’t be using it as a bench gun eithor mostly just hunting rifle for deer and as long as it shoots reasonably accurately with copper plated that’s all that matters to me. And getting out into the woods would do me a whole lot of good! Any information you could give would help me out so much! Sorry for posting this a kinda a second time, but I really need your help with this hahaha

@@gregmcb5305 I have a respectful question sir. Are copper coated slugs legal in your state? And, what advantage do you feel they'd give you on game, setting aside of course, potentially higher BC and perhaps, less fouling?
@gregmcb5305
@gregmcb5305 3 жыл бұрын
@@100PCMMCW nope they are legal here along with pure lead. I don’t think any state regulates airrifle ammo unless it’s for hunting, though I could be wrong. The main advantage to copper plated vs pure copper is that you still get the ballistic properties of the lead while at the same time not having to worry about small lead fragments being left in the meat afterwords, even after a clean pass through shot A bullet will still shed small particles of lead into the game. Also less barrel fowling with a copper Jacket as opposed to pure lead. That is the only reason I haven’t bought a .357 air rifle for deer too start hunting😞... I already have enough health problems I don’t want to add lead to the list haha. Are copper plated lead slugs illegal where you are??

Without a doubt…you produce the most visually stunning videos on airgun 101 or any other shooting videos. Your country is breathtakingly beautiful. Awesome to have your better half with you sharing these wonderful adventures. Wish more ladies would get involved and help support these type activities. God bless you and stay safe. Always a treat when you post a new video. Thank you both.

Really enjoyed this video - what a stunningly beautiful country you live in. Sadly, all we ever see of SA over here in Australia is media hype about riots, racial hatred etc - much the same as when I lived in Papua New Guinea, shown by the media as a dangerous, dirty place to stay well away from, when in fact it was a very beautiful country filled with (with the exception of a very few) friendly, generous people. Looking forward to the next episodes. Thanks.

WOW, just wow. I have only had a brief opportunity to visit the Continent of Africa, and that was to Mombasa Kenya, where a local showed me around. I was stunned by the beauty of everything I was introduced to more than 30 years ago. I am a fan of everything you have introduced me to through your cinematography; thank you. I think Nicole has a great touch with her understanding of cinematography which adds to my desire to visit South Africa; thank you both, you are both amazing. As a destination on my bucket list I hope to get there and see nature’s wonders. I love hunting but have learned I would rather photograph amazing animals. On the flip side, destructive animals I would likely try to hunt. Understandably, I am probably a contradiction. This however, is a geologic trip I could spend months just enjoying the landscape. Thank you both for an amazingly video.
