I always wondered what that rumbling sound was on rigs. Thanks for clearing that up in your other video. It's the engine brake. On buses we call it the engine retarder or just retarder. And, in your other video you were 100% right if you use the engine brake in foul weather going around curves you're going to be all over the place. I'm retired now afters 26 years with NYCTA driving 40ft, 45ft MCI, 50ft articulated and 54ft articulated buses. Hi Bro. Marc I thoroughly enjoyed your video! I’m from New Haven, CT originally and knew right away before you said it that you were on the GWB (that’s what we used to call the George Washington Bridge) and that entire area in the Bronx etc. From 1970s - 2000’s my family had 5 members who all drove long distance so truckers always hold a special place for me, and they all complained about driving through NYC! I’ve ridden with them just around town but never on a trip so your son is so fortunate to share that with you. Also I never rode with them when they had to back up in such a tight space so thanks for sharing it was amazing! Bakery goods is normally light. Unless it’s the raw dough. That can be extremely heavy. But even loaded to the tail of the trailer, muffins weigh 35k tops. More like 30k. Appreciate the sub btw!

What's that box you have on your trailer door latch? I imagine it's to make locks difficult to cut

It's a lock box for my padlock. The padlock would go external of that box if it couldn't fit with the seal. With some seals, the padlock can't fit in the same hole.

There was nothing to delete. This is a pre emissions truck. 5.5-6 mpg. It all depends on how heavy my foot is on that given day.

Yes. We kinda make them loud. Removing the mufflers will make it louder. The diameter of the exhaust also makes a difference. Smaller the diameter, the louder it gets.
