In the 1980's my cousin's husband and sons helped to refurbish the café on Snowden and I was asked to help get equipment up to it to do the work. We had to take a portable generator on a trolley up to the top as the electricity to the café had to be turned off as it was the roof that had to be replaced. Going up was OK coming down was frightening.

I have to admit, I had left you for a while, thinking that I was just not cut out for your channel. But checking in again, I realized that you did have to find your YT-voice. And it is getting fabulous now! Seems after all, there is an objective way to spot quality - and it looks like shortly after I gave up on this channel, you achieved it. As to your question at the end: I think in terms of doing it myself, I would love the hike up Snowdon. Within the video, the images of Pontcysyllte were my favourites.

I love watching you both on your narrow boat adventures. I live in Gwenedd and enjoy watching you on the canals I used to walk on when I was a child. You went to Swallow Falls and Snowden (Yr Wyddfa). Just a small point, the highest waterfall is at Pistyll Rhaeadr and is the seventh wonder of Wales, higher than Niagra Falls.

A surprise but in the nicest way,you had a very adventurous time particularly that Zip line .For Climbing and Hiking you really need the correct foot wear, I learnt the hard way climbing Sca Fell and Helvellyn in the Lake District many years ago I hope Alba was safely moored and you found her ok on your return . That was a lovely vlog. You certainly filled your days well. The drone footage from Bangor,looking across the bay to the Snowdonia range,was stunning 😮 How long did the hike take up Snowdon? Looked like a lovely walk, shame your toes hurt on the way down Marina. The zip wire looked scary but I really want to do it. My daughter done a skydive on Good Friday and I would love to take her here and surprise her, doing it with her of course xx

That was a joy. I spent many summer holidays with my parents in those areas, a delight that spilled over into my twenties including a hike in deep snow to the summit of Snowdon where we roped together and needed ice axes to climb the narrowest track, ( miners track?).

Lucky enough to had a great view when I last climbed Snowdon in-fact some of us did the three peaks Ben Nevis ,scarfell in three days for Nelson journey charity raising over £8000 for bereaved children

Thanks for sharing that great video. I was very happy to note that you changed from your sneakers even though the boots gave you problems especially on the way down. Sneakers on Snowdon is a sure way to a broken ankle! I hope that your toes soon recovered.

Myles I would rather walk up hill anytime. Never hike in anything but comfortable shoes, and shoes that your toes don't hit the front.

Wales never Fails. What a great trip! Cycling up Snowdon next week, hopefully. Did it 10 years ago. Walked a terrier and toddler over Llangollen. Remember being cautious about the gaps in the railings! Thames in Abingdon still looking wild today! Hope Alba's hanging on tight👍!

You must also try by train the Ribble and Dent dale viaducts on the Settle railway. The views are spectacular. Super video.

Congrats on passing the driving test! Not in a million years will I go over that aqueduct with my boat or on that slidy thing, I freak out at heights! Can I ask a question?
