This is a little complicated to explain this and, I don’t know if anyone knew this too and, I don’t know if it only works for the stone axe but, I realize that if you use the stone axe for the rock resources and use all the durability but one last durability, it’ll make it to where it won’t break until you hit the rock at the 8th time then it’ll break. So let’s say you hit as many rocks that you haven’t harvested yet 7 times continuously with the stone axe and all the resources will come out, do not hit the rock at the 8th time because it’ll break. The 8th swing won’t make the rock poop out any more resources. So now you have an axe that won’t break till you hit a tree or hit a rock that you already harvested. I’ve realize this because I have so many NMTs that I use them to travel other small islands and collected resources from the rocks and was wondering how my stone axe wasn’t breaking. Like I said it’s a little complicated but if you wanna try it out go for it.

I have a flimsy shovel that I keep just for hitting rocks. Much like how Link's weapons won't break if you're attacking a Lynel while riding on its back, shovels will never break as long as you're getting resources from hitting a rock! Note that the shovel will still "lose" durability while hitting rocks, they just won't break if something is falling out of the rock at the same time. So if that already "spent" shovel is ever used to dig a hole or hit a rock that is already hit for the day, it'll go poof (even if Katrina gives you good belongings luck for the day - the game knows that the shovel is already dead). Keep a "real" shovel on-hand for regular digging activities, and be amazed at how much longer it lasts if you're never hitting rocks with it!

@@CrossingChannel Ok, I "watched" the video twice and this wasn't mentioned (out loud), I usually just listen to videos while doing other stuff so I didn't see the screenshot that states it until now. But the 99k thing is still not even close 😆 It costs 3 times as much so the profit would "only" be 50k, making the video sound very exaggerated haha but it's still nice. And ordinances don't take effect until the next day, so you'd not only have to be super lucky to get this as a hot item but you'd already have to have that ordinance in effect, which I doubt many people have or would be willing to change it to permanently just for minuscule chance of getting this as a hot item, haha! But it's still a nice tip, and nice for those who manage to get it with all the requirements!

You are forgetting the most popular of the exploits.....the Treasure Islands where you can go visit a made from scratch island and fill your pocket with anything the have laid out. Most of them have fields of royal crowns where you can grab all you can carry (and one on your head) when you sell them back, you'll never need bells again. I amassed about hundreds of millions of bells. Other islands have all the DIY cards laid out, all the gold tools, all event themed islands....some offer all the 2.0 items that came out and its easy as pie to find your beloved villagers you are looking for. They can even spawn the one you want if you ask nicely :D

You have to be patient, as there are usually queues to get in, and then everything stops when people fly in and out, so give yourself lots of time. A pocketful of royal crowns gives you around 12 million bells, and you only really need 20 or so per island, if you reset instead of flattening.

She was the very first encounter on a nook miles ticket island. If you want, head over to twitch and look for treasure islands. They will show you the villagers and Audie is very popular. Just make sure you have an open spot available. Just be warned that they can take some time to get into since the dodo codes are displayed to everyone(private ones for subscribers) and there's a lot of interruptions from players joining in and leaving. Editing to say that you just go in their house and talk to them and ask them to move in. It looks weird because the homes are off the map a bit but you can walk up to them. If you want an easier time, you can throw a twitch prime sub their way and link a discord to get access to their subscriber codes. You can also view the maps they have and it shows you all the items, DIYs and villagers on each island.

I got 1 billion bells from this by accident and it was the worst thing ever. Everything was too easy and it takes FOREVER to throw away all the bells so I can get my bank account back to a normal amount. I enjoy grinding for bells but needed a lot to redo my island. If I spend 10 minute a day filling up all 40 slots with 99k bell bags and just dumping them in a trash can I put next to resident services over and over again, I’d have to do that for a month to get it to a reasonable amount. Don’t get the billion turnip bells unless you really do not care about earning bells the old fashioned way
