Love the new Pocket Camp! My only issue is a small one. I wish they had added something (furniture, a building) to fill the blank space in each biome where your friends would park their campers. Each area feels empty without them.

One warning about saved data: once you've transferred your data, you can backup again but it will only be held for 7 days which means we constantly have to backup weekly. I hope they address this and make a permanent way to make a backup.

so say I get a new phone and download pcc again, I can keep my data just like before? only that I have to backup my data manually on my „old phone“ and download it on my new phone within 7 days (or repeat the process)? I’ve read a comment before that you can’t transfer your new saved data on the new game and that it would be lost if you get a new device, but maybe they were mistaken? It stopped me from getting the game up until now and I haven’t found any other information on that yet. I’m sorry I’m not too good with words but hope you’ll understand what I mean :)

Pocket Camp Complete is definitely scratching an itch I didn’t know I had, but it’s also making me want to restart New Horizons and I fear if I do so, I’ll abandon it lol

The new Pocket Camp definitely got me back into New Horizons, but if you’re worried about abandoning it, I’m trying something that’s kinda working for me and I hope it’ll work for you too! The last time I restarted was sometime last year, and my whole goal with this island is to take it slow and focus on the Critterpedia in the early stages, instead of rushing to get 3 stars. This put less pressure on me to play daily and burn myself out grinding for bells, which actually allows me to take long breaks and jump right back in. I think my last break from the game was for several months, at least, and I don’t feel pressured to restart yet! I also named the island after my dog, so it has more sentimental value and I’m less tempted to restart whenever I get bored or frustrated with a certain theme. My playstyle definitely isn’t the only right way to play, though, but at the end of the day, Animal Crossing is a game. That means if it stops being fun, there’s no consequences for taking as long a break as you need. I hope this helped, but my playstyle definitely isn’t for everyone :]

I restarted my acnh in time for fall and the only event I've missed so far is Thanksgiving. I got on a monster hunter stories 2 kick for like a month there. But otherwise I've left my island mostly natural, very little terriforming. I want the island to actually be playable so areas my villagers can walk and use things, areas for gathering materials or fishing, stuff I would do everyday. I've finally got my village where I want it and it has lots of room to decorate for each holiday which I'm looking forward to. I think if you take the pressure off of it's got to be super decorated an dthink of it like new leaf it helps.

I wasn’t going to get pcc, but then all of a sudden the other day I did. I am SO glad I did. I am loving it SO much, and somehow, I swear I’m further along in the game already than I ever was with the original pc game that I played for months. I have it on my iPad, but I’m kind of wishing I had it on my phone. I don’t know if I can have it on both or if I would have two separate camps. Either way, I am loving the toy day fishing event. Thanks for the reminder that I have new fish waiting. I’ll be at the river if you need me.

I actually went to an aquarium with Animal Crossing theme, and got lots of pictures. I also already completed the fishing Tourney and got all the rewards, it was fun for sure to get these rewards, and Pocket Camp has been a lot greater for sure. I was able to get a Wii U and a Nintendo Switch with the cookies, and I love the details the wii U has when you press on it.

To be honest the quarry feature is actually greatly improved in this one. You just need to ask them in Whistle Pass and you need less people. The rest I miss though.

The AI behind the players in Whistle Pass will leave bugs in your garden as well as give you gifts when you talk to them in the Whistle Pass area, I feel they incorporated these features in an offline way very well I had a harder time with these features in original Pocket Camp but since it's more automatic in Complete it's been easier for me to utilize and more enjoyable

You only need help from 3 now instead of 5 for the quarry AND you can ask for help from 3 more again and visit the quarry a second time. Before we could only visit the quarry once a day, twice is the limit now, I love that!

Bob’s gang! The new Pocket Camp actually helped me get into ACNH again, which has been so much fun to revisit. My whole goal with my current island is to take it slow, focus more on the Critterpedia and build the island up gradually, while making sure the island stays playable and easy to navigate when I start designing it. I also named it after my dog, so there’s no real theme and I’m less tempted to restart, even after a long break from the game. And so far it’s been really fun!

I wish you could exchange more coins for leaf tokens. I keep running out of leaf tokens. Miss the ability to share garden event bugs but liking how it's easier to get to use shovelstrike Quarry without needing leaf things. I couldn't use it at all without leaf things on the old game. Not having to pay for leaf things is particularly helpful since I've been forced onto Universal Credit so don't have the money to but any.
