Any movie with Christopher Plummer in it is okay in my book. He was the most handsome, underrated actor. When he flashes a smile, I just melt. He had a long, full life but he is very much missed. Rest In Peace dear Christopher.

Great movie with lots of great actors and actresses. I noticed Moonlight Serenade by Glenn Miller being played at dinner so gather this was one of the last voyages of the Queen Mary. My Great Uncle was on the Maiden Voyage in 1936 to Southampton as an Oil Baron from Texas so love this ship. ❤❤

Jane Seymour is gorgeous, her hair amazing, her clothes simply glamorous. She moves so well in the dance scene because she was a trained dancer, ballet. That Cheryl Ladd is a co star doubles the pleasure.

Now, most of women work and styles change too. Some outfits worn those days were totally ridiculous and far from elegant. This film portrays the life of minority. Why women always keep showing so much flesh, when the men in the same room wear suits! These poor men must be so hot or the women so cold. Men have much harder lives as they can't paint their faces in the morning, (women don't even hide the fact this is all painted on), can't hang jewellery all over their bodies and have their hair transformed by a hairdresser. Men have to be born good looking. Imagine man in a suit with a huge décolletage on the back, almost showing his buttocks!🤣 Where does it say, only women can wear clothes with décolletage on the front and on the back? 🤔
@E-Kat Жыл бұрын
But women can wear suits with a tie!

As time and the war progresses, she returns to America when Paris becomes occupied by the Nazis and again encounters the industrialist. An affair ensues.
