No Music track on this video. I wanted to try it with just tool aounds and see what you think. So Music or no music? ALSO timelapse doesnt record sound so I will use as little time laspse as possible.

It seems weird without music. Even something super basic and quiet in the background. But silence seems weird to me. Also, I got an idea, instead of using piles of heim joints why not use tubing? On amazon you can get tubing sizes 1.25 OD and 1.25 ID, a little sanding and it'd be a tight fit within a couple thousandths. Grease fitting, measure thrice, cut once, on all the suspension with a single axis of movement, like where the A arms connect with the frame. That's 2 heims saved per a arm, leaving the heims on the spindle sides for your adjustments. 8 heims on the front, and maybe a couple more on the rear. Wherever there's a single movement axis, two tubes could be a vastly cheaper way to make those joints. Tubing that size is like 23$ for 1.25" OD .125" wall by 4 foot. My .02 cents, love builds like this!

Best build I have seen for simplicity of thought. Just about to start one myself and I like your suspension layout. Forget the music, waste of time. Where did you get the rack?

Seems weird without music though. But you could do some kind of murder mystery instead of music.

Hell yeah thanks alot man. I see a lot of the "crosskarts" are more offroad buggies than anything. This is a Rallycross-kart. hopefully lol

That thing looks good. I've already got that much of mine done and your talkin about 5゚ here in there I'm thinking oh crap I guess we will see what happens. I've learned a lot since it's been done I guess if it breaks it breaks or works? Without knowing really what I was doing I tried to make the upper and lower rear A arms parallel squar. Had the axles level when I mounted the A arm brackets figuring that would keep it from binding
@jimkhana68813 жыл бұрын
equal length a arms wont be a big deal. they might camber out at full bump...not great but if its a backyard kart who cares right?

I prefer music(rock), and what engine are you useing? Reverse? I just picked up a 1994 Arctic cat wildcat 700cc efi with reverse!! It’s a can of worms i tell you, anyways keep the great work up can’t wait to see it shred!!
@jimkhana68813 жыл бұрын
1 for music. Im using a 2015 gsxr 600 in this one with no reverse. I may add electric reverse with a starter motor at some point. i Did think about usjng a sled engine in one but havent because of the extra involved with the torque converter and size of the pipes. I certainly will in the future for that instant powerband with no need to shift gears for the more novice riders
