This is the highest scoring song in Barbershop as of now. I only checked as far back as 2003, since 2000-2002 I cant seem to find the scores, and before that the scoring system was different. 486 in Music (Currently the highest Music score achieved even up to now), 473 in Presentation, and a 478 in Singing (Also currently the highest Singing score achieved even up until now). Total score of 1437, or a 95.8%. Those records have still held true for an entire decade. What a phenomenal performance.

Nadiv Kaspi I think you may be wrong I just looked back on the international society scores page and did some calculations and I think I may be tied for best with “cuddle up a little closer” by platinum in 2000. @@connerrock1164 I believe (and I very well may be wrong) it was due to the religious nature of the song. Bro I must have watched this 50 times. This is the best vocal performance I have ever seen. It is just so perfect. They have such a good blend it is at times difficult to pick out who is singing which part, especially between the lead and baritone. When they go to the super high stuff at the end, MOST quartets have at least a small but of wavering but they just nail it chord after chord after chord. This is what any quartet should aspire to sound like in terms of pure skill. BUT even beyond that they do what no one ever talks about which is they EMOTE the song. I really feel like the lead singer feels what he is singing. Masterful performance. I would have given hem first any other year as well.
