You know what was conspicuously missing from the trailer? Wuk Lamat voiced dialogue. All she ended up getting was one brief scene. Was this intentional?

I don't know. She was absent from the vast majority of marketing leading up to the release of Dawntrail, and we saw how that turned out.

Yes, let's pretend that the reason why DT was bad (in my opinion it was mid, but w/e), is Wuk Lamat. Not the writers, but one in-game character. If FF14 won't fix source of the problem, then literally anyone can easily take Wuk place. Those who think that MSQ is going to change drastically if Wuk is going to be gone from the main scene are in for a fun copium ride)

​@@yuriel9699You are right that shes not the only problem. The entire story of DT needs to be rewritten bcus its just not it. The writer of DT is not ready to be an MSQ writer. BUT, shes the biggest, most visible symptoms of whats affecting the entire writing of DT. I cant really blame people for hating her.

@@ZechsMerquise73 It doesnt even make sense since the sbs areas like bojza and zadnor, and the relic weapons were grindy. You could argue that Endwalker was less grindy but you could still grind out the mounts from the savage criterion dungeons and island sanctuary.

The comment doesnt even make sense. If they are talking fight-wise I am pretty sure everyone would agree that Shiva was one of the best fights ever made(minus cutscene), and story-wise it is at least better then HW and Endwalker's raid stories.

shame the writers are too inept to handle such complicated themes as Alexandrian culture. Remember they have had 30 years of some people not wanting to use regulators. There would be mixed and complicated responses to Sphene's death. The concept of remembering some who died would not be unheard of. Odd yes, but not completely unheard of. But instead the writers are so stupid they forgot that part of the plot.

they said they wanted to use the regulators and didn't think they were barbaric like the scions did, they just didn't use them so they wouldn't be tied into the system for some reason. but sure the writers are inept for writing the plot the way they want to and not the way you misremembered it

I mean, the Omega Raids were mostly just a collection of member berries from previous Final Fantasy titles. And those Raids are widely regarded as some of the best content the game has to offer. Don't knock it till you try it I say

I think it is mostly story being their concern. Nier and Ivalice sucked but the gameplay was good.

@@filipvadas7602 Omega is intrinsically linked to the game's story. The special appearances in fights are fanservice, not the main story. And why on earth do you think I would be talking about the current expansion's raids if I hadn't "tried" all the others?

@@ricardomesquita4827 I do like the raids that have some permeance in the world the most. We get a lot of nods to Crystal Tower and Omega especially while some of the others have made their way into side content on occasion. Even if they're full of references, you can still make them matter. And while I love the encounters in the Nier raids I don't like the story because it goes nowhere outside of that and I'm hoping that won't be the case for the FF11 raids.

@@Kuhazan Ivalice story is incredibly important to ARR even more so & the Ancients lore... Especially if you've done Pandaemonium. And let's not even talk about Crystal Tower, which is all about FFIII. So almost all alliance raids that we got were about other games.
