I Became a BOT in Eureka

Bots are starting to fill up the Materia Data Center. Let's see how much money they make, and if it's viable as a money making technique yourself.
SIDE NOTE: When I said "10M per hour", I did mean to add for 4 bots, but the software didn't add the text to the finished product 3 times in a row, so I'm putting the information here.

my very first thought as i saw the end of the first fate .... you didnt pet your bunny .... why didnt you pet your bunny? petting your bunny brings you better chest luck, its confirmed to be true xDD

I guess my bunny understood because it gave me a gold anyway. I'm more of a dog person lol. I'll remember to pet bunnies going forward.

The content itself is kind of grindy, especially if you're doing it solo (which I did for the most part) but I'm equal parts looking forward to, and super scared of, trying BA.

These bots do seem to have glamours and mounts, do you think it's people running bot software on their real characters? That seems terribly risky.

I noticed a lot are store mounts and glamours. Probz just using their cut to make the characters look more legit.

How do you get 0 gil to show in your inventory window, and 3,208,492 gil to slow on your hud? It's this a special option? Thx

It's 0 gil in my inventory, and I have MGP showing in the bottom of my screen. Sorry for any confusion. I was chasing Blackjack mount from Gold Saucer at one stage and never changed it back. Sorry for any confusion.

what kind of masochist plays eureka at 7am? im going for free trial best in slot for all jobs and even i'm not that insane

It's hard to have new experiences at 9000+ hours play time. Some, no matter how masochistic, have to be experienced at least once lol. Good luck getting BiS on all your jobs, but who's the masochistic now? Seriously though welcome to FFXIV! Good luck on your journey 😁👍

@@durvailgames i'm not surprised it's hard to find *new* experiences after 9k hours, but after 2k hours on the free trial there's so much stuff i still have to do; mainly the rest of the ARR relics. Eureka is great for them though, since ARR relics are huge Gil sinks, and HW relics are tomestone sinks. I actually took a break from Eureka for a bit to work on crafting log achievements, but it pulled me back in when i ran out of money lol

It is rewarding, and you do find out more about Krile if you're in to the story side of it. I encourage you to at the very least look up the story for it if you're not keen on trying it, and definitely giving it a go if you are keen. It is a different experience, and my friend said it's more like FFXI in how combat works.

you can not take random drops and rewards into consideration for any gil per hour estimations, those numbers will always be very unreliable and too flexible

That is true, so if we remove the Form & Function hairstyle, we're looking closer to 1.5M, which still isn't shabby in my opinion

Took us 2-3 years to get the botfarms perm banned, they never recovered to the level they were at previously. A win for OCE, but it looks like our work is not finished.

As long as there are MMO's with money systems, there will be bots. It's amazing to learn though a rough estimate of how much they build up over a session. As long as they don't overflow OCE and give us a chance at our Coffer's too.

As someone who's too lazy to craft for money, Eureka Bunny Fates are my salvation. Can't begin to remember how many milions of Gil I carried out of this place. 😂

I'm someone who's done the whole crafting thing but, especially when the materials are all new and expensive (base material wise, or tomestone wise), the STRESS of screwing up and just losing materials gets too much sometimes. Maybe thats because I don't macro crafts though hahaha.

You can mount, you can't fly. I wish you could though 😂 You don't even need to be max level, you only need to be 2 levels (it could be three) above.

yooo NA nerd here, the whole botting issue is actually kinda funny. back in late shadowbringers there was a group of about 5 "players" and a ring leader (6 in total) and they were committed to farming bunny fates, were talking farming in the middle of the day and afking in kugane stacked on top of each other xD pretty sure when dynamis/data center travel was added they migrated over there. i havent been in the eureka/BA space in years and it was around the time i started drifting away from the content (mainly because of people) id recommend just reporting the bots you see for cheating. but REMEMBER DO NOT EVER grief these players, just because their botting/cheating doesnt mean that theyll try and hit you with a revenge report (some of them can be extremely petty), however, i say "griefing" as in bringing mobs to them and purposely killing them. it is a bit of a gray zone but if you wanna mess with them, the bunnies have a timer :3c just wait out the timer, and you said yourself the fate doesnt respawn til ALL of the bunnies have been used/discarded. ive heard of people doing this with other type of timer content (ie fate timers) and some GMs just say "theres a timer for a reason", just be careful cus skirting a line like this is kinda like gambling, cus no two GM will handle the same ticket the same. best of luck with future drops! o7
