I have the get lean set plus their 3oz.speed rope. I tied knots in all of them, but later decided that was not working so untied the knots. Was able to straighten out the cables on the get lean set, and you can't even tell there was ever a knot in them. Much to your point about a stiffer cable, after unknoting the 3oz, it was impossible to ever truly straighten out the cable. No big deal as far as performance, but now there are several permanent bends or kinks in the cable. More of an aesthetic issue than anything else. Thanks for your review! Excellent review! Wow indeed - 2 years! It's so helpful to watch a long-term review. Any rope can be satisfactory after only one or two workouts. I agree about using the power handles with the heavier ropes. I own a Get Lean set and a set of power handles. I feel "all over the place" when I use the slim handles with the 1/2 lb rope - so I keep my power handles attached to the 1/2 lb rope and the slim handles to the 1/4 lb rope. Makes switching between ropes super-fast, too. Please keep posting long-term reviews! 👍🏻

Lookin to get into jumping and I was lookin at the rush athletics “legacy rope” for my first one but I’m not quite sure if it’d be a good one to start off on.

Great question. I wouldn't get the Legacy Rope unless you want to start with a heavier rope than normal. The Legacy Rope is a decent rope, but it weighs almost a pound. I'd start with a cheaper, 5mm corded rope so that you can get the basics down first. The EliteSRS Boxer 3.0 and any of the 5mm Punk Rope jump ropes are good options.

On their “speed sets” the wire is thicker and coating is thinner , that’s why they go faster and are less flexible.

Whats the difference between the Bolt and the Speed LE?

The Speed LE uses the standard Crossrope slim handles and quick-release system. The Bolt's handles are lighter and much different, and the handles don't have the quick-release feature. The Bolt is much lighter.
