In the US, the turbo Outback is tuned for 87 octane regular gas, not the premium mentioned in the video.

Anybody who’s test driven these two cars knows the OBXT is superior to the Crosstrek in all the things that actually matter- power delivery, comfort, passenger comfort, cargo capacity, roof rails and amenities. There’s really no comparison. The CT is just a smaller, cheaper, underpowered version of the OBXT.

Does Subaru Canada request Premium fuel for Turbo Outbacks? The USA version is quite happy with regular fuel.

We wanted the manual transmission so we got the ‘23 Crosstrek. Too many CVT horror stories.

I'd buy a Mazda CX 5, CX 50, or CX 30 before either. No CVT.

I test drove the Cx5 and I found that it was cramped, the centre console is so big that you can’t move your leg. Only to press on the gas pedal. Also the beam (or what ever you call it) from the roof is a major blind spot and very annoying when driving. I found the crosstrek a much comfortable ride.

@@rundix3351 Same. We've tried to test drive Mazdas for my wife multiple times over the years. They're always cramped.
