I will be doing this raid with my clan tonight and they always leave the mechanics explaining to me. This video really makes it very easy for me to understand especially since you go over things step by step and repeat the things people tend to carelessly make mistakes on. This is really useful in my opinion. You honestly deserve more likes.

I've fallen victim to this myself SO many times. It might even be connection-based or peer-to-peer issues but I'm the same now. Really careful about that! Bungie certainly made some interesting changes and turned those knobs with this reprisal. Have fun out there!

I really like your new explanation format! They seem a little more relaxed and easier to follow than the shorter guides. Personally, I'm always looking at your guides to understand the mechanics better. However, I also notice that (for me at least) it helps to have done the raid once or twice already. Just to get a better feeling of what is happening around you. I haven't found any LFG yet that was not willing to talk me through the basics and carry my ass the for the first clear. Keep it up! 🙏

Great video, I'm a D1 Beta player, back then I had all the time, nowadays, kids and work take much of my time, your videos help a lot when I want to try end game content, I'd hate to have to jump into a raid and hold back 5 people, although the destiny community has never let me down, there is always someone willing to teach.

During Croata when trading in pools. You can guard with sword. Makes it trivial as all but one person should have a sword.

hmm.. i did a lowman, and we still got wiped even if we already exceeded the treshold for ir yut. the only thing we didnt do is expunge, is that the reason for the wipe? didn't notice any other debuff though, screen just go red after dark liturgy debuff gone. any idea?

This is for sure a different take on guides. It's more so a deep dive into a lot of the nuances, gotchas, and misconceptions that trip people up. As I mentioned in the beginning I recommend watching and skipping to only the sections that you need and starting there. This could easily be 5 minutes. Or even less. Though that runs the risk of people overlooking Bungie's changes and coming out of the guide more confused.

Don't be an asshole. I've sherpa'd enough to know that some people just won't get it during the raid because they're too hyped or anxious to pay attention to all the mechanics and communication and there's always that guy who thinks he explained everything well but he hasn't said shit. "Dunk the chalice" is not an apt description of a task if a person doesn't know the what, where, why and how. At least with a clear long format guide, the details won't be skipped and people will have a decent understanding of what is happening where and why at all times.

As mentioned it's not for everyone, but there are plenty of nuances, misconceptions, and gotchas to watch out for that many fall victim to. I suggest skipping to only what you need for now and seeing what helps.

Only thing I would add is, I might be too late to the party with the upload, but there are simply way too many nuances to cover and watch out for and I felt it better to run the raid with the community, feel it out, and have as much background/info as possible before diving into the guide.
