Great video, I still use a side by side hammer gun. An Army & Navy 12g , 30” Barrels. It was passed down to me by my Dad , I have the records of its original sale date by Army & Navy which is 1897, still as tight as the date it was manufactured

For someone who says they don’t shoot a side by side very well, I thought you were doing better than average 👏🏻Well done always good to see old guns getting some work

As always great video. You make it look easy in all your videos, you’re a good shot 👍🏻

You were right. I did enjoy that video. So nice to see older guns in use, and in your case, with no loss of performance despite what you say. Please don’t ever fit one of those pig ugly, bright orange Silver’s pads to this gun. Only those with no taste fit them (you know the type). Nice shooting, can’t wait for the next instalment now. 😊👍 Great choice of cartridge too. Proper old school!

I still use a s/s occasionally too. Sabel 25 choked true and quarter. It's nickname is the banana gun because of the amount of cast.😂

Got a Merkel 16 gauge sxs.. love to See you use a sxs too.. an O&U had a way less High-shot at same distance, plus, on a SxS i have just to touch gently the cheek.. you See a lot of Rail, and a lot of gap between Barrels and Bird in your side picture… of you once understand That, it will shoot Great 😊

Why are crows a problem.? I'm not anti shooting or hunting. I just don't know what they do that makes them a pest....spreading bird flu or something else?

Hi Rob got a technical question for you buddy on the side by side my O/U Beretta shoots 60/40 and I believe most makes are different but what would you say a side by side will shoot 🤔
@Willenium2k43 ай бұрын
Someone I know locally says that generally a Side By Side will shoot much flatter than a modern O/U or semi. I'm not sure whether it's because it's Spanish and has a rib that ramps down a bit, but my boxlock seems to have a similar enough POI to my Beretta. As with any shotgun, it's best to try before you buy if possible. You may find that my perception varies somewhat from yours.
