It sucks to see him getting old. I was born to late... I only just started listening to crowbar 4 or 5 years ago. I remember seeing Kirk in old vids and thinking hes gonna be putting out music forever. I hope symmetry in black isn't their last album.. Please Kirk we need more. Go back and play with Down and keep putting out records with Crowbar.

So Kirk tunes down a fourth to B and Matt stays in standard tuning with that extra low B string. Kind of an interesting set up. I see they also picked up endorsements from Ibanez. I liked it when Kirk jammed on Jackson and Charvel guitars in Crowbar's early days.

+6672rock Kirk plays alot of different guitars but at the end of the day i dont care what guitars he plays . He and Trey Azagthoth of Morbid Angel are my 2 favorite guitarists for similar and very different reasons and i am into what they play not what they use to play it.

Yeah, that's what lets their guitars pull a heavy sound without going to total mud..... great for studio tracking too. If you have double guitarists like this you can experiment with all kinds octave relations like this. The only thing stopping you is your imagination!! :)

Lennon Junqueira hey man. I've got fairly close. Basically what you want to do is have bass around 8, miss at 4 and treble at 4 aswell. And run either a fuzz or distortion pedal through with low settings. And time to drop A. So AEADF#B. Hope I helped
