As a teacher who left the profession this past year, I agree. High stakes testing has transformed education into a disgusting waste of time. Tests questions are created to trick children with 2 answers that are correct, but one answer is better than the other according to them. The reading tests are two levels above the grade level that is being tested and biased against children who come from lower SES homes. Pearson receives millions every year for these tests. This system is completely corrupted. And I’m disgusted with The View for so many reasons, the chief one being it’s a propaganda machine for the corporations.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say with that? Some lower grades are four hours, but that's only the first couple of years. Also, there is a focus on critical thinks skills. I will say I'm sick of the Democrats sighting Finland because let me tell you, for the most part, they get it completely wrong, and there are many of us who are Trump supporters who hate the democrat party.
