What he does need to do is stop rationalizing his misses as wins with extra steps. And if he thinks misinformation is a major factor in the election outcome, explicitly update that in his model. Make it a 14th key if you have to.

Perhaps he does, but I find it largely irrelevant. His keys should stand on their own merits. Robby's personal animosity toward Lichtman, dismissing his forecasts as equivalent to coin flips when Lichtman was correct 6 (arguably 7) of 8 times, highlights how personal bias can blind one to plain facts. Lichtman himself is not immune to this, of course. As another commenter states Kim Iverson used his own keys to predict T's victory.

I agree for instance two of his keys deals with short and long term economy. He had both down as positive for Harris but it's about perceived performance not that which is written down. It was obvious many Americans were not happy with the current state of the economy so those two should have been negative and with those two negative his system would have shown Trump being the victor. This is why it's so important to be objective in such matters because once personal feelings enter the equation the chance of getting false results increases.

I went through his latest version of his keys, trying to use whatever criteria he had, and I found 6 keys that were false. The keys are a good indicator of who has the best chance to win. Lichtman allowed his TDS to get in the way of any objectivity

I think his keys are correct. How he used them, I disagreed on. I think he did not foresee the consumption of political media of most people has shifted to online because of the pandemic as opposed to 2020 and before.
