For anyone that's complaining about the people recording, or just "standing around" I say the same to the people that complained about the audience at "The Morning View Sessions" Dvd, you realize 1. their Is limited space 2. this isn't a festival with a mosh pit 3. It's a production with a director, so crazy dancing is most likely prohibited and 4. This was the infancy of hand held devices that could record and weren't the size of a microwave or a small football. of course people wanted to and still want to record their personal experience. People that held lighters up at concerts in the 70's were shamed by their elders, don't be and elder.

You realize they were promoting and encouraging people and the audience to tweet right? Which was free promotion and attention to the shows and new Album. They literally had a giant screen showing live tweets as they came in, I was there for 1 of the shows. Crazy this was 8 years ago but that's just how things are now.

@@5urg3x all kidding aside one of my old singers had one of those and they all hold these mics kinda like that. Elvis probably did it too lol. I don’t think it really makes a big difference for these. Brandon Boyd isn’t a screamer or anything. It’s not like he’s trying to cheat and make his voice sound more boomy. You also have to get right up in these things for them to pick up your voice. I believe they’re a little lower output.
