brilliant to see this, and to see Paul in happier times. Can't believe Woodface is 30 years old. It's still my favourite album of all time.

Precious 💜💜 it still makes me emotional to see Paul Hester full of life and being the happy guy he was. That comical spark that Crowded House had, went when Hessie left. I still love them and always will 💜💜 RIP Paul Hester. I hope you found a peaceful place.

Paul's smiling face... I miss it! This album brings back so much. Thank you for playing at the Arlington in Santa Barbara and for letting the local radio station broadcast one of your shows (earlier than Woodface I think?). I still listen to the recording. It always makes me laugh and sing along.

This was the first Crowded House album, a cassette for my Walkman and my first year at college. Luckily enough I’ve seen them 3 times, with 2 upcoming, Neil & Tim as Finn Brothers, Pyjama Club, and Neil & his family a number of times here in the Uk. But the first time was 20yrs ago at Central Coast Leagues on the Central Coast NSW Australia for Neil’s One Nil album, that cemented my love for Crowded House & The Family Finn

One of the greatest albums ever!! A fellow music student and myself worked at Sam Goody outside Philly and we always played this cd in the store...singing along and glorifying the quality of the harmonies and general musical composition of this album. We convinced everyone we could to BUY IT! Still in my top 10 albums. Love you guys! (Nerd alert warning: I was in the official fan club and still have the newsletters to prove it.)

This was the year before I moved to NZ (from US) mostly due to a career opportunity, also to go somewhere far away and different, but also largely fueled by love of antipodean music including Split Enz and Crowded House. Ended up in NZ six years and got to meet most of these blokes and follow the Crowdies on several tours. Listening to "Dreamers Are Waiting" today, great new album!

Wow.. 30 years already.. And at that point most of us in the US were sleeping on this gem.. I just wish that my first time ever seeing Crowded House wasn't at Farewell To The World, and that was just a fluke that I was in Sydney at the time.. It was at that show that I really got into them after thinking they were just a 2-hit wonder. Glad to see I'm proven wrong! Separate note.. those first two bars coming in from the first try at Fall At Your Feet.. Is it me, or does the chord progression sound like Left Hand?

Was Paul smoking a joint there in the booth?? I still remember seeing Tim solo at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto. I loved all of them since the beginning, but was never able to get anywhere near them when the whole band played in the larger venues. But I wanted to try to meet Tim while I had this once-in-a-lifetime chance, so I decided to hang around after the show. The guys went into a room and smoked weed for about a half hour, then finally they came out to see the couple of us who waited. He was so great and I got some good photos. I have one regret tho. I wish I had not been so nervous and had really looked into his eyes to see what color they really are. They're different on every album cover, and I am so sorry to have missed the chance to really see them.

LoL..watching & listening to this video is a laugh! 😆🙃😊 On the "serious" side tho.. how much( if any) of the final master-mix on C.H albums contains elements of spontaneous "live" raw recordings blended in? ...Or was everything replayed & recorded to the "enth" degree seeking for sonic perfection ??
