A Christmas country house mystery complete with snow, incompetent policeman, butler etc. and not only a body in the library but a contested will! Only a pity that the viewer is left to work out their own solution to the mystery.

The retirement age for judges has now been increased to 75. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets raised further to 80 in the future.

@@johnking5174 Cheers John for the info. I ust to watch Crown court in the early 70s When I was off school ill brings back fab memories and luvly memories of my parents too. Also remember watching General hospital and Take the high road plus Emerdale farm ' when it was about a farm. Not forgetting Mr n Mrs with Derek Batey who constantly said ' God bless?. What would the youngests do now if they had only 3 channels and no mobile phone or land line. On radio one then Tony Blackburn , Dave Lee Travis and David Hamilton and not for getting Ed Stewart on Saturday n Sunday early morning now sadly RIP. @@glynnevans1851 I don't remember Emergency Ward 10 much...just a few of the actors. I also used to watch Emmerdale Farm, and had a bit of a thing for young Joe! I know people talk about 'the bad old days' of the Seventies, but for me it was a lovely time. Now I teach students in Cambodia who don't have half the enthusiasm my friends and I did, despite having knowledge at the press of a button.
