My 93 year old mother just stopped driving and gave me her 07 crown Vic with 51,000 leather loaded perfectly mint like it just left ford. Oil change every 3 months whether she drove 500 or 25 miles, washed every Saturday and new Michelins every two years. You open the door and it smells like it did wen she rolled out of the ford place. I am literally stoked man.

Love the look of these wheels. Just bought a set 2weeks ago, w great condition 255/45s on them for $275!!! Couldn't pass up that deal. Also picked up a set of cross drilled n slotted rotors n red powder coated dual piston calipers which I think should look pretty good behind these wheels. I like the sound of the flowmasters. But I think I'm going w the straight muffler delete. (I may add resonators back in, if its too drony etc.) Look for some vids on the brake swap coming up shortly.

I had an 02 marquis. It was originally single. I put dual with an H pipe but kept my cats 40s flowmasters. It was silent. Now i have a 2015 f150 5.0 with a super10. With the cats still factory. I go to work at 5am. All the neighbors hate me!! Its really really loud. I know apples oranges. I would remove the last two cats and rock those 40s. They say those are actually resonators. I've seen those removed with no check engine light. And those cars sound sweet. Find out if your area would allow that removal and that's what i would do.

Thanks man, I just had the mufflers replaced so luckily it didn't set off any sensors. Pros, sounds way better in every way, has just a little more torque when I smash on the gas. As for cons, I can't really think of any. I haven't yet took out any cats. I do plan to in the future.

@@elgeneralpanchovilla8539 no problem, yea I would only delete the 2nd set of cats. On my 04 there isn't any sensors on the 2nd set. So they can be removed without any dash lights going off. I've heard it helps a ton with the air flow.

EL GENERAL PANCHO VILLA u can take all 4 cats off and straight pipe it weld the sensors into the pipe your ecu might throw a code but it’ll adjust fast and be fine might run rich for a day or so just make sure u do the muffler upgrade at the same time because it won’t sound like u think it would speaking from experience lol sounds like straight pipe but not necessarily a good tone super raspy and rattled at certain rpms

This car i bought as 88k miles and they did a transmission, new converters, gas tank (damaged the old one) battery and alternator. Hours are a little high at 6000 but the car is clean... Im going to do the exhaust, tuner, tint the windows and some body graphics

@@denburl3005 yea I took I to a shop who sells the flow master, I believe they are 3 inch inlet and outlets they just welded it down to the stock tubes which I think is 2.25 inch on the factory pipes

I have 2004 Town Car with 40 Flows,an put in a cold air filter(just the air filter) no intake. Man this made a difference in mileage an performance.

Ive messaged a few times but i just bought a cvpi. I talked with the garage guys about the 40 series and they thought it would be too loud and a lot of droning. My plan is short trip and not a lot of over the road. Is it loud inside the car? The engine noise and road noise seems much louder in thjs car then my town car.. thanks!

I have an 08 mgm which I bought as a winter beater, oddly enough i love this car, so i have a basement full of parts for this summer.. all new suspension components, water pump, coils, plugs, bbk intake, vic jr manifold, long tube headers, comp stage2 cams, timing chain, guides, 4v oil pump, 16x7 front rally wheels and 16x10s for the rear, 3.73 PI rear and a new radiator.. but i need an exhaust and this sounds like it's a good median of quiet and mean.. love the car man..

Well as of right now there is really no drone inside the cab of the car. I haven't touched the cats as of now. I do plan on taking my second set out soon.

Buy one! Get a p71. BUT, Don't buy a patrol car! Look for a detectives car. Or fire chiefs car etc. (If u can, find one w the SAP, street appearance package. Because u get the cloth interior and nicer trim. But still get all the p71 goodies too) The patrol cars get beat to shit. They let them idle for hours on end,. Which is super hard on the motor. And the state cop cars tend to have issues w the rear ends. Because of highway pursuit use. If u can find one w the 3.55 limited slip great! If not, the 3.27 open is ok. In my experience it's kinda tough to find an SAP p71 w the 3.55s. But that's a cheaper upgrade then the interior swap. Watch for blown out plug thread issues. Which is a VERY common problem w the 4.6 due to an engineering flaw. (Not enough meat around the plug hole, w an aluminium head) Not hard to fix. but a pain in the ass! Overall though, they are great cars. I have over 200k on my 2003 p71. With nothing but basic maintenance. I did have to do one plug thread repair. Because some idiot (not me lol) cross treaded one during a plug change. But other then that. It's like a freakin timex man...Takes a lickin n keeps on tickin lol!

I think it's best if you buy a grand ma version. Single exhaust. Low miles never abused. Then finding that police rear, that p71 rear bar, and aluminum drive shaft. Finding an H pipe in thejunk yard and have the muffler man put some 40s behind hit. Gotta get that tune. Might not want that police rear with a tune. 155mph with 2.73s on my tuned marquis. Not much more power but got rid of the governor and it just never stops pulling. By far one of my favorite cars!! Cop cars i had 2. The third was a p73. Single exhaust grandmarquis. That was the best one!!
