Excellent content, Mark, well done. I wear multiple watched daily for the entire weekend. Sometimes, three different watches to enjoy from my collection, Rolex Cellini Moonphase, Submariner, JLC - Duometre Lunaire, Patek, Lange, Speedmaster, enjoy them all.

All good weekend watches, all different as we all have different weekends. I love the comment about dropping a watch as the later scene from the Titanic movie. Nora's comment on the engraving still being there on her Rolex was perfect. My weekend watch of these three would be the Omega 300M great white, that watch just looks incredible. The IWC and Rolex would be joint close second.

We're in Champaign Illinois, home of Jimmy John's. Before he sold the business, Jimmy was know to give Rolex watches to some of his key people and top performers. I suspect that the gold Rolex was one of those. Great segment and the Omega is my next purchase!

I think Omega seamaster is a great watch but I can’t understand the hype. If I would trade my sub I ‘d go for a Tudor Pelagos. My opinion only. Thanks for the video

I bought a blue Seamaster 300M last year, and turned down a no date Sub this year. I had never asked for any Sub nor shown interest in any Sub, so I didn't feel bad. The Seamaster is awesome and there isn't a Sub I would trade it for including the Hulk.

@@tomnewham1269 well, if I was a flipper I would have grabbed it, but I'm not in the hobby to flip a watch for money. I buy watches I actually want and the Sub is, to me, boring. As is most of the Rolex lineup. I DO have a z-blue Milgauss and there are a few more I want like the Polar Explorer II, the Pepsi and the Bruce Wayne. I may not get any of those, I'd be happy to just get one, but if I don't get any that will be okay too.

[Rhetorical] My original point - - and I'll leave it at this - - is that a person's lifestyle might dictate that they don't wear the same watch in multiple scenarios. My weekends are much more physically demanding than my weekdays, so there's no way I'm wearing the same watch I wear to the office. When in those scenarios, I'm going to grab my "Weekend Watch". And there are thousands of people just like me that, I surmise, aren't going to abandon the term because Frank said it wasn't a real thing.

Cant bear it when they say 'solid gold rolex'.. it's not solid gold. Its 18k gold case and bracelet and not 24k. Also the calibre is not gold. There is more other metals or alloys in that watch than gold. It's got gold in it but not Solid.
