Grave Robber was reloading so frequently for you, more than it should. I think something might have been going on with Deconstruct. That might actually be the play over Bait. Now I wanna try it with Apotheosis + Star Eater.

Yeah, grave robber has a 3 second cooldown so definitely deconstruct putting in a lot of work

Yea you’re right. Watch the gun perks area as he does his tests; Deconstruct keeps refreshing, meaning it’s activating as well.

With Deconstruct no longer giving free ammo though all it's doing is eating into your reserves. So maybe good for higher bursts in a shorter window but I believe it'll be a significant damage loss in total damage.

If you get a double perk combo of Bipod and B&S you can rally with Bipod perk then swap to B&S and keep the extra ammo you get from Bipod. 👍

As a Hunter main (legit only class I've ever really played) I'll just stick to my Recon/Impulse + Bipod/BnS. Have Apex if I really need as much DPS as possible but in terms of just general use case (plus having unraveling rounds up a lot due to fragment) I'm loving this roll. Don't have to think about it and if I want Bipod for some fun general play use I can swap the perk.

The snaps count as super damage, not melee damage. This is also why synthoseps doesn’t buff the song of flame snap 😢

this is not the best dps RL, its not that close to slideshot crux and its also less reliable (and less total dmg, also being viable on non warlock subclasses) than apex, this weapon is mostly not worth getting

If anything I'd say it's likely the current best Strand RL for sure. Pairs nice with things like Unravelling rounds for a little bit of extra damage. But definitely not the highest in the game.

Not enhanced Grave Robber has a 3 seconds cooldown, so what it´s reloading the rocket sometimes is Deconstruct (you can see the proc) and not GR, with just Grave Robber you can´t spam that much the rocket. GR & BnS might be better with a swaping weapon

I get the hype, i have this roll...but i don't understand why everyone is saying this roll is the best because of graverobber. Theres a 3 second cooldown on graverobber, wouldn't it be better to just use reconstruction? Its enhanced version reloads one rocket every 2 5 seconds i think and doesn't require all the melee, swap, kinetic, swap, energy, swap, melee, etc etc etc. Genuinely curious

It has a longer cd at 3.5 seconds than grave and reloads a % of the mag rather than the full mag. Melees are also already a part of a lot of rotations anyway and if you use ascent or something inbetween grave reloads you can rocket dump faster than you could with recon

You absolutely cannot just add 30% damage to the rotation in this video for bait and switch over deconstruct because deconstruct is very much being utilized here. Grave Robber cannot be reproced during its 3 sec active time. Which means you cant spam reload it with Arcane neddles every time. The reason his rocket is reloading so much is because of deconstruct. Every other time he hits a rocket with deconstruct it loads a round into the magazine which is why he never has to reload. You would need thread of accent or something else to auto reload the rocket while the grave robber perk is active if you didnt have deconstruct.

There is a roll out there better overall in every activity that doesn’t require the penalty of bipod. Envy and recon is the weirdest of the bunch but 3 mag with no penalty to damage. I’m not saying it’s the best of them but look into it because it’s still stumps me that they let that in.

the changed bipod a while back, which made it just give you the bonus rocket without having a penalty to damage.

@@gamingart2858 the never removed the dr that bipod gave. They made it to where it isn’t a 40% loss I think now it’s less than that but bipod will still hurt.

@@Zarrakon sorry there friend but recon will always be a better option than grave robber. Grave robber is good don’t get me wrong I love the change but no where near as potent as recon. Recon will always fill the mag no matter what you do with the recon base weapon as far as to not needing to hold it in hand recon is slowly getting out of hand being the best of the best. Leaving grave robber to fend off the most potent weapon perk seen. Grave robber is going to need to step up or recon will overtake it being they are in column 3 together.

@@Jwcmbr You're not reading. DPS means DAMAGE PER SECOND. Total damage yes obviously almost any other weapon probably beats it, but In terms of burst damage it's the best rocket

@@jackburkel4119 wait so u are telling me that dps is good but edge can onephase the boss that is on the video? Burst dps is not good, maybe consistent dps, but as u are telling that's not too efficient as the total damage is low and u 100% will do the same damage or more with any kind of switch. Btw u don't need spirit of claw for this, is better star eater with nova bomb and solar buddy aspect (make sure u have transcendence and do a switch between guns for free damage like witherhoard, recomend to use spirit of necrotic, and yes u will have time to game back your melee with just transcendence and apotheosis or even with necrotic if u do it correctly).

Maven demonstrated that this can also be good on Strand with normie Apotheosis and the Ascent fragment. Basically you swap between using your melee and grenade to reload

It should have the same 3 second cooldown as demo. I believe deconstruct is what is reloading the rocket in between grave robber cooldowns but I'm not 100% sure.
