As a pageant fan, Dominican Republic was the best performer here both in Swimsuit and Evening gown competition. I was actually surprised Venezuela won. I could not believe my eyes seeing her as the winner. I was actually rooting for Kosovo to win. She's just a Goddess of some sort. Upon learning that the delegates hates Dominican Republic's bitchy attitude and seeing Stefania's reign, I can say that well, she deserves the crown. Bravo!

Say what you like about Trump, his organization had the biggest set pieces and performances and stage design plus variety of location. If they had the music and the advocacies of the new IMG organization, Trump would probably have been the best owner of Miss Universe. Of course also he can be a little too iffy with the way he talks about certain women. But in that time Big Mouth billionaires were popular so I'll give that a pass. IMG definitely has a lot more female empowering advocacy, and I like their background music, especially their theme, but their set pieces are a little bit digital, they don't have very elaborate stages, and they made many gaffs including crowning Colombia instead of Philippines, giving Malaysia the best national costume when it was Philippines who won, and instances of the host and the speakers talking over each other / commentaries being incomplete or cut off.
