I visit The Man and Dog Show animatronics in Gillian's Wonderland Pier at Ocean City, NJ. These animatronics were once apart of Chuck E. Cheese but got rethemed (retrofitted) into different characters. Let's take a look at the history behind these interesting animatronics. #chuckecheese

I can relate,but I was scared of them back then because I believed those horror stories of them,but now I now know they weren’t real and I’m just sad because they’re being removed. I used to love them when I never heard the horror stories.

They played a big role in many kids lives. Though,I have a small hope that,Chucky e. Cheese may be remodeling them and removing the animatronics to make new ones,and hopefully the band together than just chucky alone.

Also, the real name of the show is actually “Rocky and the Railroad Ramblers” but Andrew’s nickname is the man and dog

I’ll give you the full timeline for the man and dog, since I’m a huge fan of these animatronics Late 80s: Zack Periwinkles 1993: The show arrives at Gillian’s 1998: The dialogue is edited out 2000: The outfits change, to vests and a red dress 2007: The fence, stage, and Back get painted green and blue 2014 Andrew (an employee here) brings back the 90s look 2019 Henrietta’s old dress comes back, Bubba gets a better railroad hat, Rocky eyes get painted green, Hank gets an updated shirt, Tony gets a new mustache and beard and hat 2020: The old dialogue is restored 2021 Rocky, Bubba, Henrietta get their eye’s painted 2022 Bubba gets new fur on his mask

I am NOT going to lie, I was a bit nervous when being around them but now I’m so invested from just the history in the 80-90s. I am surprised with the animatronics being “extinct” in a way.. because I’m sure it’s going to be hard to find one or something like that.. I’ve noticed that they have changed over the years.

I'm hoping that I can find a Jasper animatronic if I can get fortunate enough because I would love to have one of him if somebody said a suitcase of money down beside me and asked me which would I rather have lottery money or Jasper and I'd pick Jasper (of course if there was an extra Hank roaming around out there from the man and dog somewhere but that's the only one I'd say the same thing for him too 😎🐶)

It's a bit harsh when you call them "rip-offs" better call them: "re-makes" or "re-skins" because rip-offs is not something to go away with it, like, if some place or whatever uses like the same similar name as Chuck E. I can confirm the terror I felt when I saw the Chuckie cheese Ape singing and jerking wildly all over the place with sparks occasionally shooting from its mouth and eyeballs. No kids birthday was the same without these monsters singing happy birthday or whatever creepy song they had going.
